I got as far as 1/2 the hood tonight before I pooped out. I'll finish tomorrow.

The high part of the hood is pretty much toast. Im gonna get a black wrap patch on that part and see if I like it. If so, I'll keep it. If not I'll peel it off.

@AndyO78FJ40 I got my hood blackout from Crawlorado. Good quality (3M) and it's held up well for the past 2 years.

Haha....yeah. I kinda miss her. One of these days it will rain and Pat will be free to work on it. He's a concrete guy and stays wide ass open when it's dry like this.

My hood has the same issues, but looks a lot worse than yours does. Mine blends in pretty well with my gray paint. I think it would look good with your blue.

The entire drivers side of the 60 is in rougher shape than the passenger side. It polished up but there are quite a few spots where the paint is completely faded.

Lou and I polished it when I got it back 18 months ago but I'm pretty sure I didn't wax it after we polished it. Since it is covered all of the time but in a carport not a garage I can see it fading but not this bad.

I'm super glad I did this. Thanks again Lou for the polisher. New pads are on the way

Had a great run in the 60 this afternoon. Took it on a 200 mile round trip.

If the snorkel grabs HP I can't tell. Got its usual 11 mpg. Rode good. Stopped good.

In fact, I had first ever proof of the rear brakes working.

I made a panic brake on the trace to miss a 15" 8 PT that scooted out of the woods on the trace.

Rear brakes locked up when the nose dived hard. We almost got to test the ARB for sure.

I'm going to get my black patch and my drivers seat fixed and I'm going to call this a wrap.

When the KO3's come out I'm gonna replace these MTs. I really really want ATs but this truck looks too good with MTs

I repurchased this truck 19 months ago and I've spent $6000 dollars on it. Mostly maintenance items and put 5000 miles on it.

She's a keeper.

Looks like my rear pinion seal decided to give up on my last trip.

Is it worth trying pulling the flange and cleaning and reinstalling with RTV or just pop seal and reinstall? (I think it's that easy on a cruiser 3rd)

Install new seal. Make sure you don't over torque the pinion nut.
