Greg
We just call it the FJ

No mods, all stock
Bought it last summer with the intention to slowly modify it for exploring the Northwest's back roads with my 3 little boys. I grew up exploring southern Arizona with my dad.

Almost done with restorations of our 83 HJ60. JDM, imported three years ago. Upgraded the 2H with a Turbo Glide turbine kit, and she flies (and smokes) now; we can even merge safely into interstate traffic now - risky before. We call her Ran-kuru (ランクル) like she's called in the mother country. No more serious dirt for her; she's my daily driver now, and I need her clean. 146,393KM on the odo tonight, 01 MAY 14. Lots of upgrades and contemporary comforts added.

Yep, I put on about 150 miles Monday, about 80 today. It varies.

17 inch rims.
35 x 12.5
They came on the truck but when they wear out I will go with something in the 33 or 34 inch range and 10.5 wide

Well, I love driving my rig everywhere, so I think you are one of the lucky ones if you get to drive it that much on a daily basis....gotta love the stripes and hubcaps on that rig. Very retro indeed... !!

Thanks guys.

The previous owner definitely deserves a lot of credit for keeping it in such good shape and garaged most of its life. The interior is in almost like-new condition and all original. Not even any cracks on the dash and only a really small blemish in the usual spot on the driver's seat.
