Well, since I've been bombarded with requests for a 60 Series Axle Poster I figured I might as well show you all where I am with it and solicit some assistance from those of you who have been down this path AND have part numbers. The biggest obstacle to making this happen is researching all of the part numbers available and then making sure there are no mistakes. In the 80 Series section I had a head start because another member had made an excel spreadsheet that gave me a good starting point.

So here is where I am at with the 60 Series poster and what the 80 Series poster looks like for comparison and so you can see what the end product will look like. If I get assistance with this then I can make the poster available sooner. If I gotta go at my own pace...well...it'll be at my own pace :flipoff2:

FWIW, I'm about to do a front disc conversion on a 40 using 60 knuckles so I'll be going thru this process within the next week.

Here is what the 60 Series poster looks like as of now:

Heck Ya!

Part numbers holding you up?
That's the easiest part of your project.

Just go HERE

Remember though that some original part numbers get superceded by newer numbers and whatever numbers are current now may get superceded by newer numbers down the line - so my advice would be to use all the old part numbers, since any vender can cross reference the old with the new.

That site above references the original numbers.

Oh I'm right there with you ;)

Cant remember if I mentioned this on the 80's thread for the axle exploded diagram - but you really need to put it on the shirt upside-down, so I can read it while I am working on it ;-)

I was thinking the same thing. Or maybe an apron with it upside down on the lower half.
Also maybe a merger of the two posters for us 80 series part timers.

Torque would be nice and the word molybdenum disulphide lithium base grease:

Looks gorgeous - like the red better than the black. I like the illustration style - it has the same heavy outline feel as the "Archer" television series animation, for whatever reason.

70 axles and hubs are basically identical to 60, I'm thinkin? I know the length is a little different...if there is any actual difference between the two, maybe adding a note to cover the 70's would be good. Kill two birds with one stone.
