Congrats dude!

I wonder if Steve M's 100 up in Santa Fe is available? I think it was a 1999 with rear air and rear locker. He had that thing built by Slee and it was almost completely finished the last time I saw it which was about 2 years ago... maybe longer.

That would be a great truck to pick up if it was available.

Not for Marc. He would complain about the fuel mileage and then he wouldn't go wheeling because no sliders will be built for it for five years. :flipoff2:

Scion XB is where it's at for Marc.

Marc,
What's with the new avatar? A king snake with a marijuana leaf in an orange condom? You're a strange dude.

But is the 60 actually gone yet?

Sorry Marc. That 100 is sold. Nice thing ... it's been added to the HDC stable.

I test drove it on Monday. Then I was going to take Danise to drive it this morning and figured I call them to make sure it was still there. Sure enough, it was sold. Oh well. That prevents me from getting tied up with something too quickly after getting rid of the 60.

I even went over to American on Wednesday and got the service history report for it. I could give that whoever bought it if it's indeed now in the HDC family. Who bought it?

Thanks. The truth really hurts more than it should sometimes.

Yeah. Pretty cool, huh?

I was looking around on the internet for "Ahlen" information, history, whatever I could find. I know there is a town in Germany with the same name. I looked it up on Wikipedia and that image is the coat of arms for the town. According to Wiki, Ahlen is literally translated as "eels". I don't know why it has wings, since I'm not aware of any flying eels. Nor do I know why it has a crown on it or why it lives inside an orange condom. Regardless, I'm a pretty weird dude and thought it was cool so now it's my avatar.

The timing belt was done at 93K, according to Dan. You will need to ask Steve who bought it.

Maybe you're right. We're going to go look at this sweet machine tomorrow. It's even got some TRD goodies!:bounce:

LOL, really? :hhmm:

I know that we all think that Toyota is the bomb diggidy but there are other vehicles that you may like:

Honda Element (some hate it, others love it) :meh:
Isuze Trooper (awesome room inside) and a great wheeler even with IFS.
Mitsubishi montero
Subaru Forester

Just throwing some possibilities out there.

I'm now putting on my flame suit and standing by.... :flipoff2:

No, not really. But I thought it would be fun to play along.

Not enough seats in an Element
Wouldn't trust a Pooper more than 2 miles from town
Montero - might as well just get a 4Runner
Forester - The best choice in the lot, even if it doesn't have a low range.

Is the 4Runner too small for your family? They do get great mileage and are awesome wheelers.

I'd be completely happy with a ~98 - 02 4Runner. I imagine the off-road capability of one of them would be equal or better than my '99 TuRD Taco. But they don't have 3rd row seats and Danise really wants that. Since it won't get driven much, I have a hard time using the fuel economy excuse to trump the extra seating desire.
