Echoing what everyone else is saying, thanks to Cody, Cole, Slee, Elite, and everyone else who helped make this such an awesome event. It was great to meet everyone. Huge shout out to @gomez268 for helping shovel me out in the dark. View attachment 1757335

great meeting you man, let me know if you want to hit some VA/MD trails sometime

@M1911 Did I spot you at Pikes Peak?

It’s possible. I drove through Colorado Springs on my way to I-70.

I made it to Hays, KS on Monday. I’m currently in a hotel in Terra Haute, IN. With luck, i will stop in central NY tomorrow, and back home on Thursday.

Where was this? Gold king basin? I think I may have got stuck 20 feet beyond those very ruts..
Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures.
Justin? It sure was. I got stuck there, then the next day, @Ohnoitsbreaux got stuck there. Then at dinner, I warned you of that spot lol.

That would be great. I’m sure there is plenty to explore in Shenandoah, Blue Ridge, and WV. I believe they just opened up some sort of ORV Park in Western MD. @vapilotda is also local, he mentioned an off-road park near Winchester, VA.

With it being a white 200, Massachusetts plates, and sliders, I did pass you. We passed right at the foot of Pikes Peak in the construction zone. That’s a shame it sounds like you didn’t to go the top of Pikes Peak, it was pretty wild. Safe travels for the rest of your trip home, Jared.

I'll have to post pics later when I can reduce the size of them. We were literally in the same spot as Bloc, but i hadnt rolled down into it yet. Was on the verge of rolling as my driver side tires has little tire still on the ground. Thank goodness for HAM radio and a crew of ever undying friends who dropped breakfast and gas in Telluride to caravan at record pace. I'll never forget the look of 6 200s coming in hot.

I'd also like to give a special shout out to the 200 who came up into the gulch, took some pics of himself and then watched as we started/finished the recovery. Didn't bother to once say hi, offer to help or anything (not that it was needed). He sure did love to post pics of the ongoing recovery while sunbathing. Glad he wasnt a part of the Rogue Group 4...good riddance peasant.

Anyone who was on the Alpine Loop group on Friday and has pics of the recovery, please send me pics. I'll be writing up some kind of summary and possibly an article for an online pub.

Matt, here are the pictures that I have from the recovery:

Oh wait, it doesn't let me upload more. I will upload the other two in a new message :)

Totally echo Dan's comment. Kudos to Cody, Matt, Jackson, Amory, Todd and the fun and cool people we met - George & Alexandria Dan & Cory, Tony, Mike, David & James, and so many more. What a great place to play with our toys.

Hope to see you all again next year and/or at Turf N Surf in Pismo Beach. You think high mountain passes are fun, wait until you let that 5.7 V8 loose in the sand dunes!

Cheers,
Jim and Katherine

P. S. Katherine made me hike to the top of the ski resort today ..

Completely agree! :) George and I are both thrilled to have met everyone, thank you all so much for making this experience so memorable! Hope to see you all again soon!
Great pictures everyone, thank you for sharing! I am still in awe of the wonderful views we saw during those days (not to mention the altitude)!

I decided I had to make my own profile in the forum and the profile picture is from the Imogen descent. George had found the perfect spot to take the picture of the "splash" that I can now brag about everywhere :bounce2:Speaking of pictures, here are a few more from the ones I took on first day and I know that George is going to post more soon as well.

Are you referring to a silver 200 Series in the clearing below you during the hail storm? While the nine other 200 Series were rescuing you? If so, that "peasant" was me. As you noted, there was plenty of help, the "recovery" didn't look like much from my perspective and certainly didn't warrant pictures or sun bathing. Maybe it was some else.

"Rogue" group eh? So that's what you call it.

Jim
