4.2L V6.... Powerful wench system... That seems stupid cheap, what am I missing. I mean it clearly has some issues and the seller has no clue, but still I feel like I'm missing something, otherwise I need to send @beno to check it out and then buy a ticket to Colorado

Anyone have an F1.5 or 73/74 parts for the 40, need shroud, air cleaner, exhaust and intake manifold, carb spacers, diffs, drive shafts
Why? That is the original air cleaner that should fit the carb you're buying.

Looking for OEM clips that hold bottle jack handles under jump seats in 1975 FJ-40.

Yeah, and he really showed off is "copy and paste" skills in that add. Someone should make sure he knows those high dollar sales did not have "custom v8 conversions" or "automatic transmissions" either

So my power steering box rebuild was a failure. Spewing fluid.

What model and year-range of truck would this have come off of? Guess I need to hunt another one or have them try and find a new internal shaft for this one (assuming I can pinpoint what model it is).

Wasted $200

Who did the rebuild?

West Texas off-road. They called and said ‘there was some pitting on shaft and it might start to weep after a couple years’ but otherwise should be ok. Today was a power steering volcano.

If I knew what it came out of I might see if they could get a new internal shaft.

Have you called them? They have always had great customer service.

Was after 5. Calling them tomorrow and sending it back to them.

From what I know about pitting and seepage from my small engine work: there's no way a little pitting caused that. They effed that up and knew they effed it up. They hand you that story because they knew it was effed up when they sent it back to you

Just my .02 cents, get a refund and goto PSC and get whatever they offer! Top notch stuff!

Yeah, just passing along what they said. If they will fix it then no harm no foul.
