The spare was cheap enough that i figured i would go ahead and get it for my collection.

I'll drop mine off to Rob as well, in case my new one takes awhile to get here.

Hey, was hoping someone would know some info about the hj47 auto cancel for the indicators? I know the 60 series have a spring and collar that cancel but I can't find any information or pictures showing this similar set up in the 40 series?

I finished this project today.

6 weeks. 108 Hours labor. $8500 in parts.

It's pretty bad ass. I really am happy with the end product.

Mine or Andy's? The Delta Beast needs weatherstripping for the doors and the liftgate but the top was reinstalled with good weatherstripping and it's nice and tight

Unless you don't want future generations to be able to enjoy a classic. I'd paint a solid body 40. Just my opinion...

I think you discount the change in conditions these things enjoy once rescued.

My truck went from 48 years of being put up wet in the elements to living the clean pampered life in a climate controlled shop.

It's not going disenegrate and by painting it you destroy its story.

That would be like white washing my house.
