The hard part is done getting that old pedestal off is a bitch. I ended up sliding the fender out slightly to get the old steering box off and then drilled out the rivets after I knocked the heads off of them.
Well, you don't have a history of doing anything mini truck very fast...

George's Saginaw bracket and Pulley are the best on the market. The other brackets use the front 2 headbolts and you can never get the belt lined up.
Is it usable? If so I need.

Is anyone local looking for an FJ40 project? I have a lead on another FJ40. 72 with a good solid body, needs a motor (full drivetrain if you ask me)
Does anyone have a spare later model 40 tire carrier swing out latch hook. I'm trying to figure out something for my missing Kaymar swing out catch and figured I would see if this would work.

Are they pricey? I kind of wanted to just borrow one to mock up and see if it would work.
