Picked up this jewel Friday.

1977 Mississippi truck. No rust. Mostly original. Belonged to Richland Mayor. @fountainhead has been asked to get me the history.

I think it has sat up for a long time.

@beno and I got it going this am with fresh gas, a fuel filter and a can of starting fluid.

It's a bit of a mess from being put up muddy.

It's going to be a great project for someone.

I have a couple people in line to buy it that will make it great again

Very nice find.
Nice sunroof too!

I almost snagged that one. One hell of a deal.

Correction... Almost tried to snag that one. Better? Still one hell of a deal.

Don't damage that brush guard!! LOL

Anybody want to venture a guess at what lift this has on it?

I'm guessing those are 285/70R18s (~34") based on most of the ICON specs I've seen.

If I am doing a front disc swap on a 40 axle using mini truck parts, then I would need to get a knuckle rebuild kit for a mini truck, correct? The trunion bearings to go from the 40 axle to mini tuck knuckle are the same for either axle, correct? And the inner axle seals for a 40 are the same diameter so they will work with the 40 inners, correct? So other than swapping the mini birf onto the 40 inner, reassembly is just clearancing the opening and then putting it all back together just like I was putting any other Toyota knuckle back together, correct?

Pretty much with one little snag possible in the steering. The Cruiser TRE are probably smaller than the Mini so you may need a bushing to make up the difference.

Why would my parking brake on the 40 keep the truck from rolling forward, but not restricted from rolling backwards?

Andrew says the shoes may be ramped? But if that's the case I don't see how flipping them the other way would not just have the opposite effect, which is also no good. This makes my head hurt
