4 speed to a 5 speed (1 Viewer)

I have a 1976 fj40 and my tranny is messing up one day on the way to school i let out on the clutch and gave it some gas and i heard a little bit of grinding gears and it would move?

Anyone know what this could be from?
I have thought about puting a 5 sped in it ?
How hard is it to put a 5 speed out of a toyota truck in to a cruzier?
Anybody know of any place that makes adapter kits?

will it still go into gear?? if not ur gears might have locked up. It happens to me a lot in my truck. When it happens i have to get under the truck and move the linkage around....
