Ok so this is my 64 fj40. It was my great grandfathers. I saw it one day when I was 14.One of my friends said that thing would be bad ass if it wasnt a dump. Ever since then I dreamed about it. Eventually I found this site and realized what landcruisers were all about. Im no mechanic and dont know very much mechanically but I think if i wasnt with this landcruiser through its roughest times, I wouldnt appreciate it as my as much as I will when she is at a point where I like to show her off.(if that makes sense) Anyways this is my 2nd thread. I ran out of room and cant afford a star so im resizing the images to fit more until I can afford a star.

At this point, I just got new doors because when I found the fj they were gone(someone stole them). I have put about 1600.00$ in her now.(well me and my grandparents) it cost 1200$ to get her to run strong and be able to drive. After the cage from metaltech gets here it will be close to 2K$ invested...

I like the story, and thats what these things are all about. Shoot me a PM and I will donate a "Star" so you can post pics. Call it an early Christmas gift......

It is all original except the rear bumper and the seats. I found it like this

blow the dust off of it and drive the dang thing.....

Great lookin rig, love the shorty running boards....

I've found that you can post more pics if you upload them to somewhere like imageshack and then use the insert image icon just above the text box. All you have to do is upload the image, then copy and paste the image URL into the popup window that appears when the "insert image" button is pressed. Cruiser looks good too.

McClaskey welcome to da mud,
Its gr8 to see another '64 comin back to life. There are a few of em on here, just take a look in search under 1964 and you might like what you find. Take yer time workin on her and she will treat ya right.

Buy a star and you can post as many pics as you want right here.

Nice rig- I dig the earlier trucks. that looks to be a great rig for what you have into it. Good luck with her. This place will get you all the info you need.

Some inspiration for you, my '64 is the 2nd FJ40 I ever bought. Still have it. The F and 1bbl aisin have taken me on some great adventures-
