Trying to figure out what the biggest tire you can go (without scrubbing) with using a 4" lift and uncut rear fenders on 15" rims? I'm guessing 33 x 12.5 x 15 but would 35 x 10.5 x 15 work?

Anyone have pictures/suggestions?

thanks!

What is the backspacing on your rims?

I don't think 35 or 33 X 12.50 tire would work if you flex it at all. It will damage the rear fenders.

I have never seen a 35 x 10.50. Who makes it and what tread patterns are available?

Not sure on the backspacing. I have 15 x 7 rims I believe.

I've been a land rover guy for a long time. The only tire company I know that makes 35 x 10.5 x 15 is Simex Tires (based in the UK I believe). They have a mud terrain called the Extreme Trekker. The only person in the US that imports them is Washbrook....

Simex tires are expensive. $299 per tire. But they are incredible tires IMO.

Here is an example of an FJ w/ Simex tires...

I have that same lift, same tires and mind works fine... might hit every now and then... but it is not a beater rock truck either so it never really gets all the way flexed either...

I've got a 4 inch lift with SUA, with 35x12.50 BFG A/T's on 15x10 wheels, no rub, but also like apeterson, she never gets completely flexed. The rear are pretty close to the fenders, but it will work.

I would flip the springs around and open up the rear fender a bit, but I would think you could run 35s without too much trouble.
