I have a 1993 4Runner with the 3.0l v6. It seemed to have a new lack of power last week, along with a low idle. Then Friday morning it died leaving my house, and wouldn’t start again. I have spark at all six plugs, I’m also getting fuel. Further diagnosis revealed that there is ZERO compression on cylinders 2,4,&6. I pulled the valve cover and the cam is spinning just fine. Although I knew it was because my distributor is.... all I can think is that I slipped a timing belt. Which I did a full replacement last year. Is has a new belt, idler, and tensioner. Is there anything I could be missing!?

I just did a full head gasket replacement a few months ago. Also, isn’t it unlikely that all three cylinders would go at once. Even with a blown HG I would think I’d get some sort of compression, even a small flicker of the needle on the gauge....I get absolutely zero psi on all three.
