looks like its painted the Lexus nori green color.
I like it better than the amazon green lc200 color, it really is a beautiful shade of green, especially in the sun.

I agree with you. I would say paint and love it!

Cruiser base made its debut in Qatar today.
As far as I am aware the first branch outside of Japan.
So basically a specialised accessorie program for the Land cruiser range.
The local one still don't have an Instagram page but this is the Japanese one so you get an idea of what they do

This was the vehicle they used to debut the program

Will hopefully develop in future and include more parts, hopefully including suspension upgrades.

personally this doesn't do much for me currently because it just seems like stickers and just random accessories but I like the idea and think the idea could develop to something nice if they follow with market demands/trends.

Is this going to be a wholly owned subsidiary of TMS in Qatar or will this be a Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros owned operation as the distributors of Toyotas in Qatar?

It makes complete sense why they picked Qatar next. LCs are **the** most important vehicle in Qatar.

The Qatar distributors referred to it as a franchise of Land Cruiser base in Japan.
They also rebranded the previous Abdulghani & bros to Al-Abdulghani motors.

Any word on a mid-cycle refresh beyond this? I'm most interested in interior updates to the dash and instrument cluster.

Looking back at the USDM LX570/LC, they refreshed between 2011 and 2013 model years, so roughly 3-4 years after US debut. I wonder if we'll see the same here.

My personal wish list:
  • Improved instrument cluster (especially in light of the GX's cluster)
  • Improved and redesigned center stack layout.
  • Overtrail option with EKDSS (F/R lockers would be extra extra icing on the cake)
If they bring an Overtrail model, I'll happily throw my money at Lexus.

Obligatory:

probably not before MY2026.
Maybe some minor spec changes next year for MY2025 but a proper facelift is most likely still 2 years out due for MY2026.

I think everything you mentioned is probably on the cards.

Finally back in a wagon after driving a Hilux for the last 3 years.

10/2022 FJA300 GX with 2" Dobinsons lift, and 285/65/18 Cooper Discoverer AT3. Took a while to find as I wanted the built in receiver hitch for towing instead of the useless pintle hook we get in KSA; it came from the UAE, and is a GCC spec so still not sure how they get the receiver hitch and we get the hooks.

This wagon is night and day compared to the VDJ200 I had.

Looks gorgeous. Is it cheaper to buy in UAE vs Saudi? Are there any restrictions buying from other GCC countries?
