FWIW, if you get Carista, you can change an option for the seat's AC fan and set it to high silent. I did that and no longer hear it.
Interesting, did you notice air flow reduction as a result? This is good to know but perhaps not worth the purchase.. will keep it in mind i case i know someone who has it.

Seems to work at least as well. I got it to turn off the seatbelt chimes and founf this while flipping around.

My drivers side rear seat rattles when going over bumpy roads or small potholes when noone is sitting in it.

Just a low sounding vibration that drives me crazy. I wrap the seatbelt around the headrest to reduce the shake, but it's still there.

Lexus says it's because the seats flip up and tumble (poor design IMO) the clamp that holds the seat in place when in the upright position has a little play in it due to the design.

Just wrap the pin where the clamp snaps on in some felt and you should be golden. It's the same in 200s.

I had the exact same issue, just a slight rattle at times, but still drove me crazy. I had it at the dealership for another reason, but I mentioned it to them and they (surprisingly) had seen the issue before. It's actually an issue with the center console. They ended up adding some sort of padding (not sure where, but I can't see it) and it totally fixed the rattle. I don't know if yours is the same issue as mine, but I would have the dealer take a second look. I also thought it was my seat that was rattling as well, but again, turns out it was the center console, and if they try to tell you that's just the way it is, tell them where they can stick it. My back seat doesn't rattle at all now. If it helps, tell them that Nalley Lexus in Roswell, GA was able to fix it. Maybe they can ask how they did it. ;)

I have some PVC tape on the little metal tab that the seat clips into and well as a thin towel under the seats to tighten it up (I did the same on the 200.) Pretty quiet now. I believe people were putting foam under the seats before you close them to stiffen it up too.

Definitely going to try that thank you for the suggestions everyone.

Here is something else I've noticed. On uneven roads, in my particular case, the road is 60% grade and has even "ripples" for atleast a few km's.

The truck gets very floaty around 15-20km's no matter what setting I am in (I have AHC)

Is that typical behavior?

I am wanting to finally tackle the slight rattle/tapping sound in my headliner. Anyone have any tips for removal so that I don't make things worse when I button it all back up? One of the downsides of a very quiet cabin is you hear small rattles even more!

It's the plastic guide clip on the sunshade; I'm working on a permanent fix but a single strip of painters tape on the track eliminated 95%+ of the rattle.

Would not it make more sense for you guys to take this up with your dealer under warranty? I know they are a pain but, unless you have already tried to no avail, they should solve this.

Normally yes, but my CO dealer is inept, and "Can't hear anything."

Although @Canyonero's dealer confirmed the noise and was going to replace the full assembly. However the replacement that requires the headliner to be removed.

I prefer a simple fix without headliner removal since my trust level with my dealer has gone to zero.

How did yall stop the jack from rattling with high/loud bass?

Also those that complain about the sound system, let it break in. It gets a little better. Frankly I like it.

I've just had the sunroof rattle develop, rarely. If you bump the cover back a smidge (1-2mm), it stops.
Temporarily, yes, but in my experience, it always comes back. I know me and @Oakleyguy have been playing with various solutions for it.

My dealer was willing to order and reinstall a full headliner, to their credit, but I just didn't trust them ripping it apart on a brand new truck. My experience with dealerships is they sometimes make simple problems worse.

Right now I have a microfiber rolled up between the shade and the glass and it works ok, but I'm about to try Oakleyguy's painters tape solution.

I attempted to have fixed by dealer and when they looked at it they told me 1) they couldn't hear it and somehow also 2) they fixed it.

When I got the car back, the headliner had been pried open on the left and right of the sunshade and, and, while not visible, you can tell the left side creased/folded when they tried to get access. If you touch the left side of the headliner, it makes a cracking sound now and gives easily.

I could have just broken my own headliner too, but I guess this is what I should expect when I take it to the dealer. I was also quite annoyed because I live an hour+ away and had called in 2 weeks prior to this appointment to order new tires (since the OEM ones failed to last 15K miles) and I had planned to drop my car off very early in the morning before having to catch a flight. We planned it all out, where I'd park, drop keys, etc. Morning of, I woke up at 430am, dropped my car on the way to the airport. At about 11am, hadn't heard anything, so I called the dealer to find they had not remembered about our plans. My car was still sitting on the side of the road. Then their tire tech called me to ask what tires I wanted again. They had failed to order them, and estimated another 2 weeks to get them in. So what should have been a tire replacement, headliner/sunroof rattle fix, and oil change left me with a broken'ish headliner that still rattles, an oil change, and no tires. I've since tried to make contact with the dealer GM who has ghosted me. I know we're all just people and these are just cars (not life/death) , but I'd expect a little more attention provided to a customer who has purchased and drives a new LX and LC500. Dealer confidence is at an all-time low right now for me.

@Oakleyguy are you saying it's the black accordion-looking piece that sits above the sliding mechanism of the glass on the sides?

What I see is that the white plastic guide clip that's attached to the movable sunshade is the cause of the rattle. The guide is a fraction of a mm too small.

I'm going to see if I can come up with a snap in place shim that can be installed without dropping the headliner.
