2UZ Swap onto HZJ-80

DOHC 32 valve v8, 4.7 liters.
245 HP
340 ft/lbs
varies a little with year and ecu/original model
later VVT engines were 282 hp and a little more torque I think.
 
This engine have a little head and valvles job done .. ported and polished too .. so we spect little more powa :D

I will report back with updates ..

which bellhousing should i use to match a H151F to my 1UZ-FE powered HZJ79 series Land cruiser pick-up? since your installing a 2UZ-FE into that 80 with a manual transmission...then you could probably tell me what i need similarly on a 1UZ.

we are using the H150 bellhousing with an adapter flange .. but there is a factory Toyota bellhousing that it's used in australia in the 100 series and 105 series that come factory with the 2UZ engine and manual tranny ..

Thought this tranny maybe it's the R151 or H151 .. not sure.

Actually I foud 2 parts in the EPC for the VX GCC LHD 2UZFE EFI MTM 5F LUB

31111‑60310 UZJ100..5F housing clutch

31011‑60010 UZJ100..5F HOUSING SUB-ASSY, CLUTCH, FRONT

Those are for the H151
 
uh...thought so..you mean there's a 2UZ-FE bellhousing mated to a H151F on a UZJ105 particularly in australia and possibly the middle eastern markets. I also heard that the flywheel and clutch lining are those of the 1HD-T & 1HD-FT-H151F combo.

i'll be checking on the bellhousing and related parts before i go purchase a H151F.

tell me, friend, where did you find this gearbox? you said you got the bellhousing and the trans separatly? how bout the t-case?

there is a 2UZ with 300 mm flywheel that have a adapter and then the common H151 bellhousing .. sure 14 coarse splines. Take a look on the EPC for 100 and 105 series with 2UZ engine.

Those are for the H151

Two questions:
1-does this mean that the 1UZ-FE and the 2UZ-FE have the same bolt patteren at the rear of the engine? In other words can you mate the same bellhousing to both engines?

2-will the two part numbers above work with a H55F as well?

I suppose I have a third 3- what does "EPC" stand for?
