Last time I changed the differential oil I put Schaeffer's in it. And the bolts for the cover will come with.

Looks like new! Is that red color factory gear marking compound? Thanks for the pics
 
As far as I know it is. I never had it cha ged and only had it removed to do the oil pan
 
Thanks to Mudder, I now have a diff with a corresponding gear ratio, ( I stuck with 4.556) Non ADD driver side tube and manual locking hubs! Before I reassemble the driver side axle tube; is it supposed to be lubricated somehow? The outer most 'bearing' doesn't get oil due to the diff oil seal. Grease doesn't seem possible.... No lube?
 
As far as I know there wasn't any lube on it when I tore it apart. Didn't see a way to lube it either.
 
I wish it were warmer, I would paint it. But it definitely went to a good home! It will be loved and cared for, thanks again! image.webp image.webp
