This is something I've been wondering about for years: at what rpm does the 2H get its maximum torque.
Does anyone have any official/sourced figures?
The reason I bring it up, is because I myself have seen 3 different values:
-1800rpm (Toyota sales brochure, circa 1987) and (German site: http://www.buschtaxi.org/200.0.html)
-2000rpm (former site cruiserfaq.com) and (English wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_H_engine)
-2200rpm (Japanese wiki: https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/トヨタ・H型エンジン and http://www.toyota.com.kw/english/toyota_models___/landcruiser/history/html/history/engine/h.html)
For me personally it would be nice to know, if only to know at what rpm, and therefore indirectly at what speed, I should drive for best towing and or fuel economy.
