My CCOT lifters separated on top but they refunded me right away and I went with OEM.

Went to the engine shop to look at my engine. Took a few shots of Kevin's work while I was there.

Very nice!

Well it looks good sitting on the frame! Project is suffering from the common burnout effect. Transmission/transfer case sitting beside it ready to be hooked up. Check the thread in my sig for pics. Actually working on the 1970 rig to get it running. It only needs "minor" work. At this point 5 years later I just want to drive one for a while.

It shouldn't take long. Get the rest of the parts in for the fuel system, a new MC, and that's about it. The time to do it is your only hiccup...

@Vae Victus Did you happen to do any research on break in procedure? I almost done with my rebuild and want to get my break in plan together (a first for me). Any info would be appreciated!

Breakin procedure will probably include running at 1500-2000 rpm for the first 20 minutes to run in the cam and lifters. This is very important.
Information should have been supplied by your camshaft manufacturer
