My wife refused to buy a 200 or the new LX due to all the BS electrical and Apple crap.

While most see this as a NON Land Cruiser profile it is exactly what everyone has asked for : affordable, offroad capable and smaller (not by much per their specs) No sunroof was a huge plus on the 1958 model.

We are on the list to receive one as soon as available. 1958 model poverty pack , cloth manual seats, 8" display, 6 speaker audio and round headlights.

I will be designing a few items for recovery and suspension. Already have a 100 piece order for one product once finalized.

All in all........ if this is as dependable as my 2013 FJ Cruiser has been....... WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

IMO, This vehicle should be in its own forum. @woody I'll happily moderate.

Agreed. I don't think this should be lumped in with the GX anymore. Lets face it most of us had the GX because we really wanted the Prado and couldn't get it. Now we can...

i’m on the list for one but we’ll see if it works out for me. the one thing that i just can’t understand is all the secrecy about seating capacity. i’ve seen some photos with 3 rows (and most cargo photos do show cup holder behind the middle bench!) and some say only 5 people with just the two rows. toyota sales managers dont even know. i need the 3rd row so if it only comes as a five seater i’ll move to something else. glad to see there’s some aftermarket thought for it already.

From what I have read, the Lexus GX 550 will have 3 row availability and the Land Cruiser will be 2 row only.

that’s kind of what i’m hearing too which would be too bad. at least my deposit is refundable. it just seems like the right size between a 4runner and sequoia. i just can’t swallow
the price of the sequoia with the mark ups even if i could get one.
