Yup, you really are a troll. All you do is make up something that someone didn’t write and then criticize them for what you made up.Not really but I will point out that a manual transmission/tcase rig would normally provide options

Time to add you to ignore.
Probably reading the ''speculation'' on this forum. That looks like the test engineers laptop.

Curious question. Not really but I will point out that a manual transmission/tcase rig would normally provide options
Curious question.
On my 300 I can lock the front diff separately without needing to lock the rear.
Is it the same for other land cruisers that had a front locker?
All my 100s are manual transmissions. The toyota's I've driven with factory diff locks have all been MT rigs, cant speak to any configurations other than that......and as some like to tease....I dont like vehicles that arent at least 3 decades new......
But yes, front and rear diff locks were independent mechanisms/controls....at least at one time....
Yes.Curious question.

I wish they kept the rotary switch.Yes.
I wish they kept the rotary switch.
It was half the fun of owning a locked rig.
Most of the vehicles I owned didn't have lockers. The toyota's I've driven with factory diff locks have all been MT rigs, cant speak to any configurations other than that......and as some like to tease....I dont like vehicles that arent at least 3 decades new......

I don't think Toyota reached that level of tech yet.Personally I prefer the cable locks but would take the rotary switch any day over a button on a haptic display of an infotainment system
On the LC300 - do they at least stay in the position you put them in if you turn the vehicle on and off? On my rear lockers they've always retained whatever position the button was in - but those were not momentary switches. The momentary buttons for things like ATRAC and MTS always reset if you turn it on/off. Same with the center diff lock on my RX, and pretty much everything on my Tundra like tow/haul other than the parking sensors and cross traffic stuff.I don't think Toyota reached that level of tech yet.

I'm in Kuwait and 2022 EXR's run about $35k, VXL's top out around $50K and why I feel that starting the 250 at a $60k base is too high. I however could see the GX base being 60k if they really want to differentiate between the LC and GX.That’s $20K below current 2023 LC Prado pricing in the EU ex VAT, a reasonable benchmark. I don’t see Toyota selling their new flagship product at a huge discount in the US. So the range is more likely to be $65-$75K and closer to $80K if there is a V6 TT version. And that already is a fab price for a fully featured LC if it turns out to be worth its salt.
Just in case your pricing guess is accurate, I am already looking into the formalities to ship a new LC back to Europe. I would rather buy a TRD Pro 4Runner as it is among the best looking SUVs I have ever seen and on a par with the FJ40 and FJ 60, but the 4Runner is not homologated in the EU so I can’t do it.
Brown98LC, what pricing are you seeing in the ME?
I don't think there will be a capstone either.they predict a capstone trim at $90K. Hard to believe the LC will top the GX500 in pricing.
if there was I would think the luxury + of the GX would be more expensive and luxurious.I don't think there will be a capstone either.
