Nice! That was the best time to jump in. Same thing I did.

I stole my LX :)
I would share the price I paid but it would upset some people.

If you financed those were the best rates too.
💵

Got the 2020 loaded LX for $89k. Sticker was over $100

Woof.

$78k in June 2020 for my 2020 with 6 miles on it.
Wow, 78k is a steal.

You guys are making me think twice. My decent deal at 93k doesn’t seem so decent anymore, lol.

CharlieS - no need to be jealous. I’m definitely not made of money. It’s a big purchase for me. I just love the LC200 and figure this is the last opportunity to get a relatively new one.

A year back $8K off sticker was kind of the going rate on any in stock Cruiser here in Texas. Obviously that's no longer the case so to be fair to yourself you can't compare that your current deal.

Don't re-think, buy now if you want one. For the times that is not a bad deal and you'll by happy driving away.

Damn boii you win!

Ok, just because you finessed a Lexus dealer that much i have to jump in.

2017 CPO , 42k miles, 3 year warranty $60k ! Sticker was 101 or something.

Brand new tires, credit card key, both sets of floor mats including trunk and 4 free service intervals. Lol

Paid $78K for our 2019 LX570 new back in 2/2019 when it stickered for $88K, $10K off. Seems to be more markup/wiggle room on the LX than there is on the LC. $8K off of our LC and $10K off of our LX, got both for $78K new.

Here is a dealer down the street from me, just to make you feel better about your find!

Be greedy when others are fearful.

Sadly yes but it doesn't change the price.

Land Cruiser / Nov 2020 - 2017 CPO , 42k miles: 65K + 7 year ext warranty(100k miles): 2K.

Dealer fees: 900 :bang:

New Tires, brake pads, 3 free services at 5k interval ( oil changes, tire rotation and something else)

I remember Lexus were going cheaper than LC at that time (and perhaps in past too). In any case, I had tough time rationalizing wifey why we should look for Toyota and not Lexus. I will not be surprised if that is still the case or the gap is bridged now.

That’s pretty spot on I would say!

Wifey was right, the LX is better 😁

$93k sound like a good deal at the moment.

If you want a HE cruiser, that's a good deal for the market. For the same reason you don't prefer a LX, the LX guys got a better deal. I think another member claimed he was going to list a grey 3 row HE for 120k with 5k miles, stock. I never ventured over to the classifieds to confirm our see if it sold, but that's the market now. Given it's a dealer owned car, I'd negotiate a 10 year platinum warranty into the deal. Expect to pay cost, but one can try for free.

I agree. Being this late in the game it is. I'm sure some will find better deals here and there. I needed one right now when I purchased back in August for a road trip to visit father in law in a nursing home. That greased the wheels with the spousal unit, I mean the devoted wife. Normally, spending half the price of our first house on a car would not fly.

What would be approximate cost on a 10 year platinum warranty?

I’ve never purchased an extended warranty on any vehicle.

3k is what I paid after letting them sell me truck with paint protection and all of that garbage. Make sure it's Toyota platinum and not a 3rd party warranty. It's best to ask them to put the whole deal together to make this a signing exercise because you're worried about the Rona.

Thanks for the info. I’ve sort of played hardball and gotten them down to 93k. I’m leaning towards going tomorrow to close the deal.

So what would be a reasonable ask on the Platinum warranty? First ask for it thrown in free, and if they say no then ask for it thrown in at how much?

To be honest this LC wouldn’t get driven too many miles as it would be a third vehicle.

Also what’s the deductible on the Platinum warranty?
