A nice guy over at T4R posted the changes on the LC 200 for me yesterday. Thought I would share.
As a result MSRP has also been lowered $1,110.

A small victory I'd say for end of model lifecycle updates.

Well that's a step in the right direction. The power lift gate, save that for the Lexus. :)

Now finding one where the importer didn't order it fully loaded with rear-screens will be the trick...

Then again, that means there must be a part/part number now to cover the hole for the ones that don't have the rear screens.

I actually prefer the manual rear lift gate. My wife's Highlander had an automatic life gate, and I HATED it. Now, about those darn rear screens...I sure hope txtortoise is correct!

I bet it's a whole different seat. That's what I've seen with other manufacturers that have heavily integrated rear entertainment.

I hope you're correct and they offer a factory cover for everyone.

Also says new key fob. Hopefully it's a little more sturdy. Not that it really matters but would be appreciated.

Or just wait one more year and get the 300 which they disguised as a new 70.

The frame for the seat back is different between one with the rear entertainment and one without. I've researched it through lexus parts department so I'd highly doubt that Toyota will sell the cover alone.

Everyone keep a lookout for TIS menus on new version that allow this. I'll probably check once a year until it's released. Once it's found, we can test if it's back portable to earlier model years.

Mirror is probably going to be software which we may be able to activate on MY 16.

The problem in the 16 and 17 is that the folding mirrors when locking are already supposed to be a standard feature. The option is there in techstream and it also states that this option is the default in the manual. It just doesn't work. So I doubt it's in the software but we will see.

The power rear liftgate is quite handy IMO. For a lifted truck, reaching the rear liftgate can be quite a stretch at times. Also, there's no need to mod to add in interior release for camping in the truck, as some have done cause the keyfob in the pocket can do the same thing.

Wonder if they also included the soft open lower hatch.

Just wondering...

Has anybody with an LX and the powered lift gate ever come outside and found the thing open? Just thinking it would be easy to accidently push the button if you had the fob in your pocket, then the gate would pop open and you wouldn't know it.

I came out of work one day and all the windows were down and sunroof open in my old ES330. Apparently I somehow held the unlock button down while it was in my pocket to trigger the "windows down" feature. I was really glad it wasn't raining or snowing! I don't keep my fob in my pocket during the day anymore after that.

I have a BMW M4 and an X5Msport that both have remote trunk releases... the M4 i've triggered many times to come out and find it wide open. The X5 never. They have different remotes and i think that contributes to it.

We use the power lift on the X5 all the time, especially for work.

Both BMWs have incredible range on the remotes - my LC's not so much so that might be a factor on the new LC remote lift.
