For the wagon run, how much fire wood do you all bring for camping on the trail? My son split up a good sized bin yesterday, but with space at a premium, I don't want to pack more than we need.

I just wanted to wish you guys luck this weekend for those braving the trip with a 2.5 inch lift and 33’s.

I just came from the con last weekend and me and my buddy are on 37’s with 4 inches of lift with 12 inch travel shocks (mainly for the rear).

This year the snow must have moved/eroded a couple of things around on the trail. If last year I rated the con rated a 7, this year it’s an 8, especially on the start of the uphill on Cadillac. You litterly have to use your sliders going over the rocks and pivioting. I just couldn’t imagine a 33 inch tire even making it up some boulder faces as there are no “rocks” (for you freeway builder) in that vacinity to help you clear it over.

Also both sluices got a little more challenging.

I was planning on bringing my stock Rav4. It has the Adventure package with the black decal on the hood. They said it's "trail rated". I should be good to go right?

Just heard from our Marine and his bride there in Mariposa California with a blown head gasket between number 3 and number 4 cylinder they're still somewhat mobile but it's looking like they're not going to be able to make it they're bummed. They're looking at dropping the 60 off somewhere renting an SUV and trying to save part of their honeymoon camping somewhere.

Not the most romantic honeymoon in another vehicle with a stranger... but my buddy can't go, so I'll end up flying solo. I can make room for two if they want to ride along.

Just putting this out, if any one has an open seat going in and out the loon side I could use a ride.
I would be willing to help with all fuel and $50 in raffle tickets. It sounds like a bribe but what the hell. More important for me is the ride out, need to catch a flight. I will be in Sacramento this evening, and could meet you at loon Wednesday or Thursday or even Friday at the latest

Started in Myrtle beach South Carolina Saturday morning. Made my way to Raleigh where I live to load up the 80 and pick up one of my co drivers. Then headed to Charlotte NC. to pick up second co driver. We just crossed the Utah state line and plan to be in south lake late tonight. We will be at loon some time tomorrow afternoon.

A bunch folks are going in Thusday Morning from Loon, There is a high likelihood of catching a ride. The hitch is that most of us going one way and exiting out Cadillac Hill/Tahoma.
