looking to get a 2018 without the DVD screens what is everyone paying? What did you pay for a 2017 just for comparison sake?

Thanks going to switch in the 2013 Silver for a 2018 Black

I'll be curious to see if the price goes DOWN $3k...for the "apparently high end screens" (that aren't...but have a replacement price implying 'high end'!!).

If their numbers stay consistent with their listed replacement cost...you should get a BETTER deal on an 18 with no screens than the 17 with...but I wouldn't hold my breath! :)

I’m going in Saturday to see what I️ can work out lol I’ll have to let you know

I got mine brand new 2017 in February for $78, 643. Before registratiin and loosing keys insurance package.

You bought lost keys insurance?! How much was that?? Sounds like a paint or upholstery protection upsell in the finance room to me...
It is around $450 for four years, it cover quarter size dents, scrape on the wheels (they will replace the wheel it they cant fix it), as many as remote keys.

I have paid $500 over invoice on one of the first 16LC. Just be flexible with pick up location. Local dealers wanted all MSRP or didn't have one coming. Dealer 100 miles away gave me the deal, color combo, etc. I wanted. Talk directly to the manager or start with online department.

I paid $77k total (car, tag, taxes, etc) for my 2017 back in March. MSRP was $86k.

I'm picking up my '18 this week for $78,500+TT&L with remote start, 4 season mats and no screens. MSRP is $85,795. I set up the purchase through the Costco buying program with no negotiations.

I ordered the LC in early Sept to get the exterior/Interior combo I wanted. My dealer said they couldn't trade with another dealer for what I want because they don't have an '18 LC to give, and aren't allocated to get one for a while. The nearest dealers outside my town are either in the same boat as my dealer or 250+ miles away. I didn't want to buy it out of state and pick it up, since long drives during break in are discouraged, and having it trucked in from out of state would cost 1k or more.

Dealer invoice according to Edmunds.com is $76,700 with mats and remote start. So, Costco pricing is about 2k over invoice. I'll try to do better on the price when I pick it up, and will see what price I can get on a toyota platinum extended warranty for 7y/100k miles.

MSRP is about $1,000 less this year without screens. If you get the screens, MSRP is about 1k more than last year since screens cost $2,200. There are some minor changes from 2017, like power lift gate and maybe soft close.

I guess thats a good price compared to what others have paid from their replies in the thread

Discounts/purchase price/accessories aside- Considering the adds - the MSRP went down a bit from last year.

2017 MSRP with screens was $84,775.

2018 MSRP without the screens is $83,665
^(2018 adds power lift hatch and soft close gate)

2018 MSRP with screens is $85,885

Final price on the sticker can vary a bit by region due to different fees and other B.S.
But in general the price went down while getting additional things.

Considering discounts and purchase price it seems to be a wash.
On a vehicle this expensive the deal and the purchase price can easily vary by 1k or more.
^Depends on time of year, the dealer, the buyer, etc....

Just curious what your reasoning is trading in 2 one year old trucks for new ones that are virtually the exact same? Seems extremely expensive without much if any gain.

Sorry, was actually $77.5k. Yea, timing was everything. Was looking at a used 2016 with 10k miles on it locally but it already had more wear and tear on the interior than I wanted. There was another 2016 at a dealership in SC so I called and asked about it. Sales guy said when that one came in the managers wife grabbed it and they haven't seen it since, except for the occasional car wash, LOL. So he started telling me he would work a deal on the new 2017; said make him an offer. So I threw a number out there ($77k because I knew where the 2016 were already being priced at used) and said I wanted "x" amount for my trade in. He called me back 5 minutes later and said can we make it $77.5k. I said, ahhh, sure. The sales guy even drove up 50 some miles to my house to drop off the LC, finished the paperwork and drove my trade in back down. Was impressed.

No reasoning

We keep our DD 12 months and get new ones for the wife and myself. Same thing last 8 years or so

I wish I had funds like that to just throw away. I’m bad enough at every 3-4yrs but every year, that’s Beverly Hills money ;-)

Thanks all!!! So sounds like 75,000 on the low end and about 78,000 or so is average... I’ll report my actual numbers when my purchase is made.
