They used to run DTE modules which from a tuning perspective were decent (IMHO based on having @Indestructible 47 truck on the dyno and meddling with things), but found the harness unreliable, rough ground and it would bump off the plug and she'd go back to stock which was frustrating.

What's the consensus over there on Unichip? Any common issues?

I have heard you guys say this.

The one we got seems fine from a plug and wiring standpoint. It plugs in nicely and just piggy backs into the FTE IP wiring. So if it proves problematic it is super easy to just unplug and swap out to something different.

I'd run a Unichip without hesitation if I couldn't remap for whatever reason, pending what Gturbo release. In my experience the Unichip is a good product.

Not a lot to wait on at this point. So many parts have been gathered while the red 80 gets finished. The FTE wiring harness is now officially in the works. Should not have too much down time once the assembly gets going.
