Yea its not the worst look. It’s just not my thing. This truck is not going to have a lot of accessories.

You’d be surprised. Yes it’s tan, there are plenty of forests where that truck is heading.

Not even missing a beat. Man it was so cool to see this truck last week. The truck has a lot of cool details. It’s also going to be insanely fast. After driving my fat 80 with the FTE/H152 setup, this truck is going to be quick. That wasn’t really the goal but its not a bad problem to have with a Land Cruiser.

Anyways, this post just reminded me I need to go get a title for that frame next week. I’ll probably go ahead and get them to assign the HDJ79 license plate.

Donor 80

Cruiser only had 160,000 on it.

We have got it mostly gutted already.

This is a real deal SoCal Cruiser it’s whole life.

Super nice and rust free chassis to work with. This Cruiser actually sold a couple years ago for $25,000. The transport from that sale sucked, Cruiser fell off the trailer on its side during delivery and was a total loss. Good thing is though, no salvage title. All smashed up it was still purchased for $7 or $8k, I don’t recall which. Not by John, he just bought the rolling chassis but I am trying to give an idea of how nice of a donor this is. Exactly what we want to work with as the builders of this project. Nice, clean, rust free, no salvage, low mile original untouched SoCal chassis.
