Nice! I just threw a set of those on Saturday as well, along with 1"spacers and Slee's castor correction plates for 4" of lift.

And A DOOR!!! ...... of course this would be the third door now, so this is becoming normal maintenance for you.

Yep, as you said Saturday, "should be good for a few more weeks!" :deadhorse:

This is for @rockstate45
I do believe the matrix would make most of the trails! I just need this one Non OEM option and put my snow tires on..

Got Rosey's truck up and running now, so I'm back on the wiring for the 40. Probably not going to get it done in time for flat nasty, but hopefully in time for some nice fall topless weather.

Ended up winning an ebay auction for 2 of the cup holders from a land rover that people use in the 80 series, do you think that both would be able to mount on the transmission hump plastic or just the one, if only one fits then I guess I will sell the other one it is the gray color. So hope to have cup holders in the near future.

If I recall correctly, two can fit; however, if you have the CB in the ashtray, they will not, or if you have a need to pull pass seat way forward, I think it hits.

You could also try and sell them for a profit in the classifieds here, then by a set of holders from @bhicks . I picked up a single for my 94 and it was one of those things you realize you should have bought years ago. They even have a nice little cell phone holder built into them.

Currently my CB is in a box behind the 3rd row along with several other items that need to be installed at some point, also dropped off my raffle donation at your house.

The engine in my 40 was running a little rough, so I ran compression test and found cylinder number 7 sitting at 0 so I tore it apart and found a nice bent valve in it. the top is even caved in

I'm asking the dumb question. Is that the new valve? And how does a v8 piston contact the valve? They aren't interference engines are they? Yeah I'm v8 dumb and we have 2 of em

It's the old valve. Non interference engine.

In the first pic the shaft should be parallel to the lines on the paper. In the next pic only the center area should be dished. The outer flange area should be flat with a taper around the valve seat.

Suspect that when it started leaking it got superheated by exhaust gas blowing past it and then the valve spring started working it like a hammer on anvil of the the seat and dished the whole valve.

Sheesh, I'm contemplating rock lights and an adjustable panhard bar a week before the event, and you're tearing down your motor...sounds about right!

Didn't really do anything but added to my garage. Morgan stole my latest LR3 on her way back to college and left me with her G37X Coupe...not my style. Stumbled upon the "right" LX470 so here we go again...parts already starting to arrive. I've had several but Sandi always used them as her minivan during the car seat years. I'm a bit uncomfortable as the ratio of Rover to Toyota is out of sorts in the family.

Also, Mitch decided he needed a pic or two shot of him and his rig for his Senior Pictures.
