I personally think we are beating a dead horse so to speak. How many years have we (enthusiasts) asked, begged, pleaded for a utility cruiser like the 70 series? Or a stripped down cruiser? Or, a diesel... all of which they already make.

I think Toyota looks at the NA market as a luxury market, and they don't really care to crunch any numbers to see if it makes sense to give us few what we want. They just want to keep selling the s*** out of corollas, tundras and camrys. The LC market is now a very small niche market to them here in the states.

Just my 2cents.

Hey this is off the 2016 in the Morocco ralley

Twin shocks and extension straps.
Do they still run KYB?

Where can I get those wheels!!!!!

I'm sorry, but they've lost me with the front end of this thing. It looks like any other SUV out there now -- what a shame.

Spent about 20 minutes looking over a 2016 Cruiser today, didn't get to drive it but got my hands on everything etc... First impressions, it's a 200 series, felt very much the same as my 2013 for the most part. First impressions, the steering wheel felt thicker and better in your hands. The buttons on the center console(diff lock etc) is a huge improvement!!! The center stack is basically a total redesign, not sure it's an improvement, but it's a lot different! The front cup holders still suck! The front center console does not appear to have changed at all! The plastic around the electric window switches is now a black plastic as opposed to a chrome look. The rear seat center console pull down has been redesigned and now has a spot in it for the controller I believe. The leather behind the second and third row of seats has been replaced by carpet. Anyway, the "enhancements" all felt very mild after a few minutes of sitting in the rig... I think the front and rear end mods look pretty damn good in real life, just my 2 cents...

YOU only took one picture?
Thanks for the real life update.

What happened to the shift knob? Thought they only did that in New York and New Jersey.

the rear seat also now has an HDMI plug, my 15 year old says that's really awesome!

I didn't take a ton of pics, so many people around, but did grab a couple...

I think the craziest part of the whole thing was that the LC200 appeared to be by far the most popular Toyota vehicle there, tons of people talking about how this is a Landcruiser and how much they love it etc... I think there were more people looking at the LC than the new Tacoma, the Tundra and 4Runner combined, not even kidding... I was a bit shocked
