Or room for a 50,000 lb winch lol

As for people warming to the looks; I think that grey color which was first shown did not go well. The white does not look as BAD and still ugly; in my opinion but would like to see other colors and defined have to see in person!

I seen this some time ago and maybe they were trying to that look?

Is anyone else starting to warm up to the new LX or just me?

I'm not a fan. Besides the fact that it appears to destroy the approach angle, I think it is just hideous.

On the road, that new LX face coming up behind you certainly says "move over or else".

Would not be my 1st choice in a new vehicle.

LX570, Its not pretty, it's not tough looking. It will not age well. But if I were considering a new rig to replace the GL for the wife I think I'd allow her to consider it.
I like the 13-15 LX exterior better than the 16+ but the interior is a step in the right direction.

I really like the 16+ LC and I'm laying the groundwork with home management to justify a new one. Like our 16 year old would be much safer in our 2011 land cruiser than a new Honda CRV or her aunts Lexus RX.

I have to admit I am thinking of trading in my 15 LC for a 16 LC....already from the pics im sold. I know the 300 LC is due in 2 years but I don't mind as i plan on keeping it at least until the first facelift of the 300 comes out in who knows how many years....

I've played the same game...every time I do one of these deals my wallet shrinks, but everything else stays the same.

FYI 2016 LC officially enters production tomorrow! ( 26th )
LX 2016 goes into production on the 14th of September.

This is almost 8 years after the first 200 LC's entered production 8 years ago and 10 years + since the '06 100 series update entered production.

Check this video out from 1998 ( 100 series debut )

The numbers are out I think... does the new LX from the affect the approach angle. Looks like in the picture with Jun the is a pretty good sloop under the front bumper

Should we assume the "else" is possible alien abduction. LOL

I personally think the new LX and 2016 LC look great, inside and out. I almost wish I'd held out for the 2016, but there is true peace of mind knowing I got one of the very last of a very well-tested 6-speed transmission!

Plus, in typical Toyota style, even an "update" 10 years later is relatively minor in most respects.

I'm a huge fan of the Lexus spindle--I have it on my 2015 Lexus RC350 F-Sport and it just looks mean!

Plus I'm balls-deep in mods on the Canyonero, so I'm basically committed to my truck until the end of time.

I'd rather have one of these before I would choose the new LX: :flipoff2:

I remember those days. Small cars from Detroit (Gremlin, Vega, Pinto, and later the Chevette) were all such crap.

I know several pages back we had a small discussion on the 2016 Sequoia, saw it on the Toyota site the other night. Looks like again 100% carry over model from the past several years, 2016 looks just like a 2007 inside and out. There was talk like it was also suppose to have gotten the 8 speed like the Cruisers, it does not look like that happened.

I cant see why they don't at least give the Sequoia the same interior refresh the pickups got back in 2014.
The interior is main reason I could not really see ever considering buying a Sequoia.
I am so glad the 2016 LC turned out as nice as it has. However I am still PO'ed there was no Super White for the US LC again for 16. LOL

The Sequoia interior is purposely down graded and uglified so that you get what you pay for. Like all product lines, each model below the premium model (Land Cruiser in this instance) gets purposely crippled in one way or another to protect the "value" of the top of the line. I call it engineered dissatisfaction.
