Get on it people. If you register after June 14th, no shirt will be included in your registration package.

The raffle is shaping up nicely and in our continuing quest to be the best event on the East Coast, this year we have a new caterer for dinner who specializes in real BBQ. Yea, they’re bringing a competition smoker trailer. It will be outstanding.

That's exciting. I swear the butter pads were bad last year.

Will there be a guest speaker this year?

Mark was able to convince Ben from TheDrive.com to talk about his current and past projects. You never know who else will show up.

A reminder to all that have yet to register for our great event... June 14 is fast approaching and is the last day to have an event tee(s) included in your registration bag. They will be available for purchase at the event, but we can't guarantee we'll have your size.

So what are you waiting for?? Get to it!

Registration can be found here at Coal Mine Cruiser Classic - Gotham City Land Cruisers

A little less than 2 weeks remaining to guarantee an event shirt with some very cool artwork. Registration closes June 30.

we did something to that smoker in the shop, but i don't recall what it was. he was in this past week and dropped a flyer off the pig roast he did this past saturday.

The chancers of breaking something on the trails in the Ouray/Telluride area are slim. I've been over all the passes many times and we never broke anything. Had some minor problems- radiator leak, some bolts missing from an Aisin hub, stuff like that. the trails are not hard on a vehicle but cna be scary if you don't like shelf roads. Hell driving on route 550 bertween ouray/Silverton/Durango can cause much anxiety in folks.

It's the flatlander problem. Takes time to get comfortable on a shelf road with an OMG drop on one side and a vertical granite wall on the other. Especially if you meet an oncoming vehicle. Or have to back up a long way. And while you are unlikely to break your vehicle the whine from the passenger seat can get deafening, leading to a loss of focus. But the trip and the view are always worth it.

Friendly reminder that tomorrow is the last day to register to guarantee yourself an event tee. Registration closes for good on June 30.

Registered! Thanks for the reminder. Hopefully my work schedule allows for me to come up for more than just one day.

See you all soon!

Coal Mine Cruiser Classic 2016 is officially in the books! Thank you to everyone, from Gotham staff to the attendees, you truly make it the great event that it is and continue to make it great after 17 years. We had four, count 'em 4, great days of wheeling and good weather, albeit a bit warm and dusty. Great people, great food, a fantastic raffle and Toyotas...what could be better? So thank you again and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

Don't forget CMCC 2017 is schedule for July 12-15. Mark your calendars now!
