Hi all, new LX570 owner here. I searched around and can't seem to find an answer here. My driver side low beam light seems to bounce a little when I go over bumps in the road. It doesn't turn off just bounces a little, the passenger side doesn't.

I looked in the owners manual and it suggests going to Lexus for anything related to Low Beam and I can't seem to find a reliable guide on how to do check it or fix it myself.

Can anyone lend a newbie a hand?

I don't have an answer, but mine do it from time to time. I always chalked it up abused truck syndrome, but it is more likely that the sensor that controls the auto adjustment of the headlight is acting up. Somebody more technical may know more.

Interesting. I have a similar issue. At first, I thought it was flickering, but definitely bouncing.

Well now I am intrigued. Does it do it all the time? I only noticed mine for the first time last week after the trip to Hollister Hills which was, well lets just say "vigorous" in nature, so I assumed maybe it was related. To be honest, I don't drive it much when its dark, but even so, I don't recall it prior to last week.

I am going to disconnect the battery, slide it to the side and twist that metal bracket and see if I can get my hand in there to adjust it or see if it is tight.

I hope I don't mess something up or have to reprogram anything after I disconnect the battery. Radio stations I am not worried about but just want to be sure. I will report back on how it goes.

Wish me luck!

Side note, I understand that there are no factory service manuals that are able to be purchased anymore. Does anyone have one they would like to share? I always had a Hayes manual for my cars but they don't make one for this LX.

these are from @linuxgod 's .iso file. Easier for some geezers to have the plain old pdf docs, but the benefit of the properly setup .iso is fancy links and search functions.

Awesome thanks! I am downloading it now. Does this apply to a 2014? I assume they are the same except the body style correct?

The individual pdfs have the model year suffix on the file. The “vehicle exterior” file has the procedure on aiming the headlights in it.
