When I purchased the SUV it was working, but it is now not working.
I thought it might be a fuse, but I checked #31 Inverter fuse..
Is this correct fuse for the power plug in the back?
Thanks

Did you press the on/off button in front? That outlet's power can be turned on/off from the front button. Mine is in the button cluster to the left of the steering wheel, but I'm in an 08. Your button might be elsewhere.

My '13 doesn't have a button. The outlet is automatically turned on when the ignition is on

Hmm. Wonder why they did away with the control. Are you SURE? Maybe it's in a screen menu somewhere?

Next to my steering wheel. The headlight aiming and washers were swapped out for those AoB switches on the left:

Just saying there might be a way to toggle it in a menu if they stopped supplying a button.

I don't have a button in my 14 either. It only works when the truck is running however.

Even with the button, it only works when the ignition (or accessory mode like radio, etc) is on.

It can be helpful to be able to turn it off under certain circumstances.
For example...I keep various chargers running at all times (when running) & if I'm pushing my high-power inverter to its voltage-drop limit, it's good to be able to turn off other voltage drains. Or...if you have a near-dead battery, and are trying to start up with stuff plugged in...

Same thing with my 11 LX570, no button, automatically turn on as well.

I'm not saying it would or wouldn't be helpful or the pros and cons. Just saying my 14 doesn't have a button and only works when the truck is on.

Right. I was just noting that my button doesn't add functionality without the engine, etc. Just an option to keep it off. & noting why it might matter in some situations. No biggie.

My 2011 doesn't have a kill button but does supply power while engine running only.

Maybe time for 2nd battery and more outlets ;)

I believe the 11 and up do not have a button to turn the system on and off.

Does anyone know what FUSE runs this?

There is no switch in my '11, but I looked at a '10 that had a switch. When I first looked at my truck on the lot I assumed that it didn't have an inverter for some reason, but they just got rid of the switch.

For those who don't have it...it's this:
(Gotta take the opportunity to gloat, since it's rare an 08 has something newer 200’s don't...haha :hillbilly: On the other hand...y'all prob got some cool new feature that needed that button space. Oh well...;) )

Hard to tell - Toyota kept moving buttons around over the years.

2008-2009 Had the inverter button there.
2010- The button is blank.
2011,2013-2015 The traction (VSC) button is there.
2016-2017 The parking sensor button is there.

Right. But I also have those buttons...just in other spots.

I'm thinking maybe Toyota got tired of people saying their outlet didn't work...only to discover they had a button that was off. I dunno. Glad to have the control in my case.

That sounds about right. They moved buttons around too as they added things like the heated steering wheel and xenon headlights.
