Where's your center lock button?
I'm confused.

Other side of the steering wheel.

**This is why I love how they centralized a ton of buttons to the center console in 2016. I frankly hate bottom placement because not only do they seem random on mine...but they are also hidden from view while driving unless you very deliberately crank your head around the steering cluster.

I'd like to eventually get a new button cluster device and relocate a bunch of buttons to it if possible.

Bizarre. My right side was completely blank.

Ya, here's my right side...and the rest of my left side: Go figure...

Hard to tell - Toyota kept moving buttons around over the years.

2008-2009 Had the inverter button there.
2010- The button is blank.
2011,2013-2015 The traction (VSC) button is there.
2016-2017 The parking sensor button is there.

My '11 is blank in that spot. The VSC button is on the right, next to the CDL button.

The horizontal slot below the buttons is a "card slot". Not sure what cards you're supposed to carry in there. Maybe the ticket you get when entering a parking lot? Anybody else find a good use for it?

So the '11 is neither like the '08 nor the '13 in button placement? The plot thickens.

I have a UTA card in there but never use that card. I guess punch cards would work? But only one credit style card will fit in there so it's kinda useless.

One of my credit cards is a ~4% rewards on gas IIRC, so that card lives in that slot so I remember to use it when filling up. Also comes in handy if you happen to forget your wallet at home and don't realize until you pull into a restaurant when you're taking a group of people to lunch!

If I put only one card? It falls out. I usually have three cards of credit card thickness in there...

I use the slot for a proximity card I use to badge-in at a gate entrance for parking.

There's two manuals for the '11. One with the button on the left and one with the button on the right.

Different plants ? Or did Toyota do that .5 year thing where they made changes mid production year.
i.e. 2011 and 2011.5

I'm jealous of your blank spots! Is that weird? I have no where as of yet to put my OBA compressor switch.

They won't be blank much longer... By next season, I'll be fully locked, lit, and buttoned out... ;)
