Considering I am about to have 2 girls under 2, I will be keeping the running boards. I come from the 100 series section (still debating keeping the 1998 Built 100 I have with 165k miles)

Current Build:

ARB Base Rack
Ironman Bumper
STOCK AHC - works very well
35x11.5 R20 Toyo AT3s
Bora Spacers

Goals:
Long Hauler wheeling - take the family to CO / Moab.
Possible Regear to 4.3s and rear locker - need to wheel first to see what I need
LRA 12.5 tank
AHC - OEM Spacer in front and OME spacer in the rear - still trying to understand this system and have read alot of great info on this here at Mud - thanks to the contributors.

Ran to the wife’s family property a few hours away to check deer cameras. The LX claims > 14 mpg doing 70-80mph. My 4 speed 100 would get 10/11 at those speeds. Very nice to have some added range (plus the power of the 5.7 with the 6 speed)

We don’t have any SxS or ATV so the LX is what I use around the gravel roads and dirt trails. Moved the AHC to comfort and she performed well.

Broke her in.

Shoutout to the ARB base rack slots for holding my coffee each morning while loading my daughter in. This is the most action the rack sees unfortunately. Hoping to get some camping / wheeling in this spring.

All good, I overreacted earlier. @tbisaacs sas right haha no need park in H- I was still geeking out over all the AHC goodies

Love this LX. Being able to go into sport mode for my community and haul the coal is incredible.

Sport 5 is definitely the way to go if driving fast. Normal D is fine up to 80 on these 35s.

He’s just saying that so he can pull up in H next to you and flex.

Don’t listen to his lies.

I’m wanting power and hopefully a few mpg back- currently on 35s with the OEM 20s ~104lbs per corner.

Should I get some tundra 18s and throw 33s on there or just drive in S5 ?

Thinking : Load SL Recon grapplers or Michelin defenders 305 60 18 or 285 65 18
Thinking I can end up losing about 20 lbs per corner.

Had some work done

Parts $525
Labor $1200

Oil change at 161k
OEM front spacer install
New AHC globes and fluid
Misc front noise fixed

40 mile driving impressions on new Globes and fluid: much more planted- less body roll and brake dive. Much more compliant over bumps. It feels very similar to a tradition suspension refresh- old springs/ shocks to new.

Well worth it to replace on 12 year old 160k mile globes

That seems cheap for new globes.

Best range yet. Filled up 19.5 gallons

Averaged 50 mph on 35s ~16 mpg

I want to document buying a 150k LX570 sight unseen.

Prior to my ownership: radiator, accessor belt / tensioner and rear main seal were done along with routine maintenance.

Since my ownership I have added 16k miles and I did the following:
1. Replace AHC globes and fluid - $2k- best thing I’ve done and it needed it badly.

2. Temp guage climes at idle this week- had my mechanic look at it and all it needed was some coolant

So far a pretty great 16 months with the LX. Hoping for 12 months of only gas and oil.

Why did it need coolant though? Leaking somewhere?
