CALstar

Those who have purchased and returned the CALstar info have been set up with CALstar. I will confirm the list about 1 week before the event. Even if you purchase late, they will cover you at the event pending the follow up info. a great group of folks to deal with. Lets hope we don't need them.

The cut off for this year will be July 1st. If you have been procrastinating on sending in your registration, please do so soon.

No not this year. I am going on Big Jim Adams run, staight thru to the springs. I am taking my daughter with me this year and want to camp in the springs.

I doubt that there is anyone at this point who thinks Tony was crazy for delaying, but if you had any doubt, I present you a shot of the kitchen looking down from the Heli Pad. The property owners have a lot of work to do before the facilities are usable, but I know it will get done

postponing (forecasting) is more of an art than a science... we got lucky on this call.

had we a warm May, folks would still be laughing.

We take our final counts over the 4th of July weekend. Please get your registrations in before then, and if you cannot make it by then, shoot me an email at Rubithon@tlca.org.

I will also note this might be the smallest turn out for Rubithon to date due to the postpone. If you like the smaller events where you have a larger chance in the raffle, this is the year to attend.

Thanks to our friends at Power Tank, we have two complete systems, one grand price and one general raffle. I also want to thank Jeff Acquistapache for donating the full chain saw set up again, this was last years top prize.

For our 80 series guys, there is a rumor of a complete rear bumper assembly... from one of the most desirable shops around... but I'd better not say anymore at this point in time.

My son Chris, 7 (multiple Rubithon vet) will be there. Camped behind the kitchen with the camp committee. He is always looking for new buddies. Should have his RC to share.

Jeff... just sent you a PM... we are cancelling the Tuesday formal group. You and one other person were the only ones to sign up, and to date, we have no committee for that run. Thus the need to cancel. I am bumping you to Wednesday run.

Registration went in the mail Monday. Hopefully it gets there before the 30th. Looking forward to getting out of the dry, dusty, hot Antelope Valley for some different wheeling. I think I signed up for the Jim Adams run too. See you guys there.
