well, the troopie is ready to rock!

also got more raffle goodies today, checked out the shirts at the printers; stoked with how they turned out. i even cornered the snap-on guy and got some raffle schwag from him!:grinpimp:

two more days.......

and then i can finally set up camp, park my tired butt in a chair and have a cold , until then i get to stress about about getting it all done in time, nevermind vehicles needing to be worked on at the shop so my schedule does'nt get completely goofed up.

C YA SOON!!!!!

Pighead is a definite, I waffled, I must admit, between the Georg run and the Cantina...I did a Rubicon work day with FOTR a couple weekends ago, and it was a blast. But it IS Georg's B-day, and I have been there, that weekend for 9 years in a row or so.
And then I remembered Mark A. is bringing parts for me. I gotta be there.

we'll be up at rubicon next weekend for marlin's roundup. so you CAN do both.

Loaded up and ready to go, hitting the road early tomorrow morning with Rob (Landrusher909).

another question. Are there port-a-potties at Clover Meadow or do we bring our own, find a far-a-way tree, hold it?

Gotta make 3 parts drops on the way up, possibly 4. May have a surprise visit from Rat70fj while we're in P-ville tomorrow night.

Gonna be interesting if we have to wheel a 5 foot wide roofrack in on top of my bed bar.

Hope to see y'all Saturday.:)

Hey all -

I just wanted to post up a quick thanks to those that helped me out with my drowned Cherokee yesterday (yes, a total bonehead move on my part) near your camp on Deer Valley Trail. I think it was Jake (hopefully I remembered the name right) that pulled me out of the creek and all the way back to Blue Lake. You have no idea how much I appreciated it!

I know a few of you took some pictures and someone took a movie of me be being winched out. If it's not too much trouble, would like to get some of them. You can email to phil@pacificventures.net. If the movie is too big to email, I can give an link to upload to.

Thanks again for all the help and trail side courtesy!

Phil
