I am waiting to hear back from a company that fits out LCs here in Canada for the mining industry. They have a lot of the split wheel rims cheap. I don't mind getting those unless there's a downside I don't know about. Assuming some garages won't want to mess with them but I'm assuming a truck shop would know how to mount the tires.

I don't see a lot of options online for the 5x150 rims. A couple of very expensive Japanese aluminum rims but I don't want to pay $3000 for 4 rims.

I have a set of the split rims. They are quite different from the "widow makers" used on older US trucks.
Totally safe to do a tire change yourself.

Glad that Ens came through at such reasonable prices.

I would think the only disadvantage of the splits is the weight and the fact that you need a tube.
