keep all animals on a leash at all times.

Really? Maybe I should leave him home... :hhmm:

Got my rocker protection about 3/4 done, not counting welding and paint that don't need to be done before Fri. Still no blinkers though.

except for "d'animal" of course!

if you plan on bringing your dog, the please do your best to keep him/her on a leash in camp. if you take him for a walk, the let him rip. i just don't want any dog issues around camp.......

glad to hear you're gonna make it dude!

here's the skinny:
the raffle is free as long as you bring a cruiser. everybody gets one ticket and is assured a win. it's become somewhat of a custom for everybody to bring a raffle prize, but it's not a requirement. the cash raffle is a "winner take all" deal. tickets are $10 each. you can buy as many as you want. we draw onw winning ticket. that ticket gets half the cash in the hat, the other half goes to 'friends of the rubicon" to help keep our local trails open.
it's pretty much byob, byof. but if you bring extra, that won't hurt. sounds like joe and paula are going to try to make it. that means we'll have a pig on the spit for sunday afternoon.
there are no formal runs at the event, but we usually get two casual groups together; stockers and wheelers. they will then head off in different directions to have some fun.

culture?! well, you might have to go somewhere else for that. but it is a family event. so please be condsiderate around camp and keep all animals on a leash at all times. after the sun goes down, the bar opens up........

see ya in 5 days!

NICE!
Really looking forward to it!
Awesome that the money raffel goes to FOR for doantion!
SOOOO raflle prize....t shirts, hats, parts, tools, welding rod/ wire, ETOH, what are we talkin here?

Chicago

any thing. well, almost anything; keep in mind that there are lots of kids on hand. so R rated and below please.

in the past we've had anything from a can of hand cleaner to a roll cage kit and everything in between. so whatever you think might be appreciated by a fellow cruiser will do just fine.

and bring cash in multiples of $10s! :grinpimp:

ps: i'm starting the cash raffle by putting my usual $100 in the hat.

I still have to adjust the steering slightly on the 60, but should be up sometime friday. Georg, are you trying to get a headcount or does it really not matter? Also, if you need a hand carting stuff up the hill, shoot me a note. You're on my way home...

head count is really not necessary until we're up there. then i'll need it fir the raffle. i could use a hand getting some of the raffle stuff up there if you don't mind.

thanks in advance!

t-shirts

they're being printed right now and well be available at the event in a few different sizes. if we run out ( hope not, having 110 done ), i'll be happy to place another order and ship them out.
i am having a few made for the major sponsors and will be sending them out if need be. so the money for the shirts covers the cost of the shirts, the design being printed on them and makes up for the freebie shirts being sent out. accordingly, the shirts will be $15 each. hope that works for everybody.

the shirt design will be a secret until you get there. ;p

Georg the wife says if I really want to go to the 45 run she is cool with that I just have to drop her off at her sisters in Polock Pines so she can visit with her. Like I would miss this !!!!! See ya all there

Is it true the "pig run" is supposed to camp separately from the "45 run"?

:frown:

Granted, it's a nicer spot...

:flipoff2:

Any food-sharing/pot luck ideas?

I can bring the Dutch oven...

:grinpimp:

I'm already doing salsa, etc...

Sounds like fun. I'm all packed and ready to go. My poor buddy Sandrat tore his rotator cuff bench pressing 100 lbs. dumbells, so he isn't able to drive but still really wanted to go, so he is going to be loaded up with vicodin and advil ( and hopefully alchohol)and will be "sittin :princess: bi*ch" in my rig. All kidding aside, I give him alot of credit, because I probably would of stayed home and pouted.

what a pu$$y, my grandma can bench more than that! :flipoff2:

glad you guys are coming brett and matt. should be a good time for sure.

Pussy NOT! Regardless I can hardly wait. If this weeks weather in the Bay Area is any indication..I think it will be fantastic up there. Oh by the way Georg...Its Mark and Matt ...Not Brett and Matt..lol. You can tell the differance because Brett is soft and chubby and Mark is small and skranny :flipoff2:. as the picture here will prove!
