2008 Annual Meeting - 1/26

Notices will be going out shortly for our 2008 Annual Meeting. This will be held at:

Ed Long's cooking up some BBQ for us. Table service will also be provided. We need sides/desserts to go along with this. Please sign up below.

The doors will open at noon, will work to start serving around 1, and hopefully start the meeting around 2. We'll run through the official business, close the meeting, and move on to the fun stuff - planning club events for 2008.

So, now that you've read this far:

• Please volunteer to bring a side, dessert, or both.
• Please come ready to discuss not only events for the upcoming year, but also ideas for improvement for Get Flat Nasty as well as other club activities.
• Please consider volunteering for the club officer positions up for re-election this year.

Just bring a normal batch- with the potluck there's no need to feed the whole group. Plus, we are expecting somewhere between 60-75.

Mike, plenty of parking, pull through spots, too. No worries. On food......Marc is bringing a boatload of beans and that is cool. However if everyone brings just enough to feed 4-6, then we should be OK, so don't knock yourselves out!
Remember to bring cups if you wanna drink beer or whatever. No "obvious" alcohol, leave coolers in your rig. There is a door from our room to the parking lot.

I am a new enthousiast, and plan on attending. My 76' fj40 project is getting lined up to start when spring thaw comes....

I'm excited to finally put a face to all the posters. I will bring chips and spin-dip.

Do I need to go through any initiation?

you will need to bring
(1) roll duck tape
(1) blindfold
(8) pop sickle sticks
(1) can of pepper spray
(2) packs of chewing gum
(1 or 2 ) rolls of paper towels
(1) dog whistle
and 1 bar of soap
that should do it

I don't know if it's already standard procedure, but if not-

How about some name tags with mud screenname so us new folks can figure out who's who. I've talked to some of you quite a bit on the board, but wouldn't have a clue who you were face to face.

Name tags are one of the things we are incoporating this year. Most everyone will recognise each other's screen name but some may want to include real names as well...this doesn't apply to you bob...or you zane
