Yes, I will. No problem.

mike: you think 1 gallon will be enough? i can bring more
ed: i have 4 chaffing pans hotel size like 13x22, how many do you think we'll need?

Since we have an oven and I will have everything in aluminum pans, I don't think you'll need to bring them Rob. There is a serving counter from the kitchen to the meeting room.
You might bring them for the other stuff like the Cheesey Corn Bake and such. Hell, bring one or two if you have the room.

Ed

Ed we owe you big time...thanks a million!

Honored to help:beer:

Pork is pulled, brisket sliced, signs are made so I think everything is under control:cool:

Do we want buns or bread or both?

Coffee drinkers?

Ed

Not sure we will make it..

This is turning out to be a pretty long week. I am not sure that Will and I are going to be able to make the meeting. If we are not there, I hope you all have a great time. For those of you who did not know, I was promoted (I think??) as of Jan 1 to Sales Manager for both the cellulolse insulation and environmental products (erosion control) divisions of my company. It was a nice move for my career, but the work has most certainly increased. Let me know where I can help, but please understand if I have to say no from time to time.

Congrats on the promo!

Looks like Saturday is shaping up to be a great day at least weather-wise. Hope you can make it for part of the meeting. If not, then on the trail or next year.

Ed

Craig,
Congrats on the promotion!!

Question...What time is the actual meeting going to be held? I was informed this AM that we have a dinner date with another couple Sat evening and will need to be back in ICT by 7-730p.

If it all works out we'll bring a hot dish and maybe some cold or a dessert.

Props on the step up Craig!

Looks like instead of spending six hours driving, I'll be taking a tutorial on gears with a local Toyota guru. Sorry I won't make the meeting, but I'm looking forward to the learning experience.

I also like the idea of joining BRC and Tread Lightly. If the club doesn't want to do as a whole, I know we will be joining anyway.

For those of us who won't make it, but want to renew our TAC membership, can we just go to the site and do so? Lastly, when I first joined there was talk about a Wichita/S. Central sub chapter. Was that something that is possible, feasible, logical?

Hope to see everyone in Feb.

We're going to join BRC and will certainly look into Tread Lightly as well.

Since Jason brought up another issue I'll throw one out there as well.

Can we open a second account at Molle for those that do not reside in MO? In an effort to keep a few extra $$ is the pockets of club members not residing in MO an additional account in KS, NE or ?? would be a helpful. Certainly not as profound as Don's recommendation but with the taxes saved would allow non-MO club members the ability to put the money saved toward BRC, Tread Lightly, their mortgage or whatever. If this is something that can be setup with Bob for the club as Eric did I am willing to talk with him and see what we can put together.

As far as I know, you just need to mention TAC to get the discount....does not matter where you live. Tim, one of the parts guys at Molle, happens to live in my little town and has been known to deliver to my house:cool:

Ed

That's not what I was getting at, I do receive the TAC discount. What I trying to illustrate is if you purchase a product and have it shipped from a company in another state that does not have a store in your state you do not pay sales tax on the transaction. Obviously if you drive to Molle for a part you would pay sales tax but if you order over the phone or online and have the parts shipped to KS, NE, IA or anywhere other than MO no taxes should be collected. In general shopping online or with companies in another states has a distinct tax benefit. Let's say you're purchasing $500 in parts you will pay roughly $39 in sales tax. As I mentioned before if you spend ~$1000/year the $80 in taxes saved could pay for a BRC & Treadlightly annual membership, the mortgage or ?? Does that explain it any better? I don't think how I typed it came out the same as what I was thinking.

Tax vs shipping?...........marginal difference.

The discount we get is greater than dealership employees get.
