All, much appreciated on the pivot to the new location Saturday morning. This helps keep us out of the elements, although the temp will be a bit lower than we’ve come to expect this last week.

In case you missed the email that went out:
Due to the forecast for Saturday, the meeting is being moved to Shawnee Mission Park, Shelter 8. A map is attached for your convenience. We'll begin registration at 11:00 a.m., with lunch and meeting to start at 12:00 p.m., and an anticipated wrap-up by 1:00 p.m.Please note, there will be no bathroom access, as the water hasn't been turned on yet this year

Address: 7900 Renner Road, Shawnee, KS.

See you all then!

I hope everyone has a great day. Sorry I won't be able to make it this year. Military obligations have me out of town.

Despite the cold temps and chance for weather all week, the turnout yesterday at the annual meeting was great. It’s been a joy serving the club over the years, meeting new people and witnessing the many Random Acts of Kindness over the years. This is a consistent theme that makes this group so special, beyond the passion for the vehicles that led us here. Thank you all for that and coming out yesterday. Special thanks to Rob, Amanda, Peggy, Patrick, Max, and the many others to their contributions and support as well to make this all happen.

Yesterday brings an exciting opportunity to welcome @Flatlanderfj40 to the President position. He’s met with an unparalleled passion for these trucks and the people that make up this club, and I’m eager to see what the future has in store. If you haven’t seen Ethel or Mildred around town or on the trails, it’s a sight to see.

Hopefully we get to see you all at the various club events this year - whether that’s the Kessler Krawl (9/26-9/28), the Mike Sears Memorial Run (10/24-10/26), or another event like Solid Axle Summit and our get together. More details to come but in the meantime, please mark your calendars.

Jack

Thank you, Jack. Tough act to follow, but will do our best.
