I just finished install and everything went fine. As far as price being so cheap, I still can’t believe it. I went back today and searched same part and it is listed for $192. Radiator looks identical to factory installed version. Will update when something happens. This 100% my personal opinion but I'd trust a Toyota radiator with that known failure mode that is quite easy to monitor/predict FAR more than an aftermarket solution, especially one that is so cheap.
Plus, it looks like Toyota is finally correcting the problem on new ones. No clue how you'd make sure you got the updated part though.

When replacing the radiator, is there actually a need to drain it while still mounted? I'd like to avoid pulling the skid. Thoughts?
Me wondering if there is a link between radiator failures and region the truck resides in. Is it possible these radiators fail more often in hotter climates? Quite a few posts seem to come from owners living in the South.
This thread is giving me anxiety. 95k on the clock... just getting into off roading and vehicles in my 30's. Lawd have mercy on me here.
I think there is direct correlation with southern trucks and radiator failure. My lx 570 had the crack starting when I purchased it. It is 2013 model and had 86000 miles. It was a late model 2013 and put into service in November 2013.
Are they going to replace it for you for free?I just had my local Toyota dealer SM do a visual inspection/confirm/record VIN of a hair line crack on the radiator at usual place with 58k miles on my 2011.
