SOLD 2006 LX470 130k $16800

Selling the LX470 my wife has been driving in favor of something a little more economic as it's her daily. The 80 is sufficient for our LC needs for now.

Bought this truck in December of 2017 from a local broker. The title is in my name and clear.

130*** miles. No mechanical issues whatsoever. Drives perfectly. There are some minor cosmetic issues. Driver's side has some small areas where the clear coat needs touched up. Passenger side doors were keyed previous to my owning the truck. The scratch was covered up using touch up paint. A detail shop could sort this out for the perfectionist buyer.

New tires put on by broker before purchase. These are pictured in the Flickr album

Airbag recall (sensor)
4 wheel alignment incl. torsion bar adjustment

For all of the socially challenged people in this mockery of a for sale thread (if you have to wonder... its you), take the vin from the carfax provided by the OP and put it into the Lexus driver's site and you'll have service records from Lexus. Also, buy your own carfax if its that big of a deal.

Usually, etiquette is if one is claiming low limes they provide a carfax to help their sale and corroborate mileage and service.

Some people here are flaming yahoos. You know who you are.

@MDJ If you attack me for asking LEGITIMATE questions about the truck you posted and rant in PM that I should ask my questions privately, I will then inform you, as the moderator did, that in these mud forums people ask questions publicly. It is, as the moderator informed you, a public process. That is not derailing your sale. That is you responding antagonistically in PMs and on this thread.

If I was still interested in making a follow up lower offer, I would ask you for undercarriage pics. And I would point out that the carfax shows a lack of service history you may want to address. But I will leave that to a buyer who might overlook your antagonistic responses.

Just an FYI, the 60 and 80 forums are notoriously unfriendly to flippers. Not saying you are one, but quick sales always raise that question in the 60/80 forums. Maybe the 100 forum its not an issue. I asked you about that in PM because what I like about mud is it is very community minded. There is a guy in Santa Barbara who was trying to use mud to hunt from craigslist and flip for crazy markups and members really took him to task. Just sayin.

I own an 03 LX470 my wife uses to drive around our 15 month old. It's badass tank and I don't plan on ever getting rid of it.

I have a carfax for another vehicle with no maintenance info. However it has all maintenance records from Lexus dealer.

Just got the truck back from Lexus. Had the secondary air injection pump replaced as well as RH sway bar link.

Also had someone check out the paint in question on the driver's side. Looks to have been repainted, likely from being parked on the street. Snow plows, etc can do a number on paint in a big city I suppose.

The way I see it, it's a low mileage truck with all of the expensive maintenance done in the last year. Still a good candidate for a reliable truck!

So funny, @Alibaster. Finnier still is that I called out the paint problems and the seller didn't react well on the legitimate questions. Then things took a turn for the worst. Funny think is here we are a month later with an admission there is a paint problem.

You should legitimately reconsider how you choose to communicate with people online.

I held off on replying when I saw you post that you were wrong about the paint. But now you are lobbing the insults again. It might do you some good to go reread the thread. I didn't yell anything about the paint. I politicly pointed out it is an issue. You did not admit it was a problem, you said "nothing on the Carfax!". And asked if you had some more details. You ranted. And then you ranted this: "As for the paint, take it or leave it. I have no plans nor the time to have the paint checked. We drive the truck daily. I'm going by the Carfax report, period."

Then you come crawling back saying the it was actually repainted, and a bad job it seems. You are a typical hustler type. Talk a big game of BS, and then get all indigent when you are called out. Your sale was derailed by your slime ball tactics. And your PM trying to get me to not ask the questions publicly, instead of you answering in the forum.. Priceless. Then the moderators had to shut you down when you whined away.

My guess is you didnt end up selling it to someone here. Some poor slob on a Craiglist ad over paid for a, maybe wrecked, repainted truck
