Selling the LX470 my wife has been driving in favor of something a little more economic as it's her daily. The 80 is sufficient for our LC needs for now.

Bought this truck in December of 2017 from a local broker. The title is in my name and clear.

130*** miles. No mechanical issues whatsoever. Drives perfectly. There are some minor cosmetic issues. Driver's side has some small areas where the clear coat needs touched up. Passenger side doors were keyed previous to my owning the truck. The scratch was covered up using touch up paint. A detail shop could sort this out for the perfectionist buyer.

New tires put on by broker before purchase. These are pictured in the Flickr album

Recent maintenance/repairs:

Feb 12th, 2018:

Airbag recall (sensor)
4 wheel alignment incl. torsion bar adjustment
Synthetic oil change (5w-30)
Replaced rear rotors, pads and shims

Feb 28th, 2018:

Replaced,
Timing belt
Water pump
Thermostat
Thermostat housing and seals
Fan bracket assembly (bearing)
Fan belt
Both idlers
Tensioner

7/28/18

Synthetic oil change (5w-30)

Yep, slime ball for sure.

Slime ball for not knowing the extent of damage and saying so (but not saying that I'd drop the price to what YOU wanted to pay based on looking at pictures) because I wanted to sell the truck as is and didn't want you slandering the vehicle with what WERE at the time, assumptions.

Slime ball for taking the truck in for another 2600 in service to add to the 5000 nosebleed I've taken in service since February and actually getting the answers you asked for. Maybe you're mad I didn't want to sell the truck to you? Or maybe you just still have something to prove.

Seems to me that calling someone a troll for doing exactly what a troll does isn't an insult at all. Also seems to me that giving someone some advice on how they communicate shouldn't be taken personally. Unless, of course, we're talking about a person who is overly concerned with being right and completely unable to admit that they have done something wrong, even when pointed out by multiple people and despite how ridiculous it makes them look.

SO,

Since IM the (slime ball hustler hurling insults) that finally sold the vehicle I came to sell to a person (a slob from the real world), I'll go ahead and give you YOUR thread back.

I'm done, you can have it.

Call me a troll for expressing legitimate issues on a truck I was initially interested in, I'll call you out as trying to hustle people. I did not slander with assumptions. It was clear as day there was a paint problem. Slimeball for hiding behind a Carfax when legitimate questions were asked about a 12 year old truck with peeling paint. Again, priceless in acting like I should PM you questions so others wouldn't see the problems. Poor guy who bought it off CL

You're absolutely clueless, pal.

You've done nothing but post in the classifieds and poke your nose around other people's ads since you joined this forum.

I wasn't hiding s***. The pictures were clearly showing paint issues. You get no crown for discovering them. I simply asked you not to badmouth the truck and derail my ad publicly. I have that right. You have the right to do it, yes, but you also have the right not to be an a******.

The "poor" guy from CL also was told there were paint issues. He saw the issues and it didn't matter to him as much as it mattered to you. He wanted a truck that had been well maintained with low miles and got it. And for 1k more than you offered, mind you. If you would have made the choice to see where I'm coming from as a seller and not to just shout your opinions and point fingers, I might have sold it to you.

You're nothing but a punk (troll) behind a keyboard who's upset about getting called out.

You tried to hustle a BS sale through here. Hated getting called out. All one has do is read your replies in the thread. Let it go and move on. You suckered some poor guy on CL.

How can you hustle when people can literally come look at the car/get a PPI, look at the pictures and look at the carfax? You sound butthurt he wouldn't drop the price when you tried to publicly shame him so he would.

@Alibaster Where does it say he got a PPI? I just don't take kindly to BS. The public shaming is what happens all over the 80 classified if someone tries a hustle. The 100 classified, not so much. Curious.

You get a PPI. You're the purchaser. Pre-purchase inspection. It is your responsibility. I guess the 100 series classified assume that you'd do your due diligence without being coddled and you can sell your vehicle without being harassed by someone whose offer you didn't accept. Different strokes for different folks.

@Alibaster I always get a PPI. I was referring your assertion the poor slob who over paid fro this likely wrecked and repainted rig had done a PPI. I told you there is no evidence he did. Go back and reread my post.

I don't have to re-read your post. You said "he" which could refer to multiple people being mentioned. Also its not nice to call someone you don't know a poor slob just because you lack tact. Perhaps on the 80 series classified they tolerate an obnoxious wheel kicker, but people actually like to sell things here. Go figure.

It's also funny that he's a poor slob but he paid only $1k more than you offered. Does that make you a slightly less poor slob, but still a poor slob?

A figure of speech.

My offer went away as the details of this bad buy started to drip and drab out.

I always wondered about the weird tension between 100 guys and 80 guys. Perhaps there is something about the 100 guys that they think it's acceptable to duck and dodge questions. Make you more manly. Maybe get a MAGA hat to complete picture. Just to be clear, I'm only referencing those defending the sellers questionable tactics and responses.

Yep. I agree. When I see a hustle happening, I like to step in. My pleasure.

Bahahaha. Hustle police! Look out! Hustle police. What a bag of hot air, this guy.

Dude, you acted like a used car salesman in this thread. Hustlers like you always hate being called out. Like when you ducked (lied?) in response to the paint questions.

Hustlers love to call it hot air when they’re outed.

Yep, you got me. Just a hustler. Just hustling to slobs from CL and trolls on Mud.

Busted.

Mudders are not trolls because they ask you hard questions politely. Responding like a used car salesman in reaction does make one a hustler in the negative connotation.

Let it go. Hustlers stick to CL. You did. It’s done. Except for the unfortunate buyer.

Mudders are contributers to this forum, not classifieds trolls.

I've had plenty of meaningful interactions in this website until coming across you.

I've let it go, bud. The truck is with a happy new owner who got the whole story just like you.

You seem to forget that you offered 1k less than my buyer BEFORE I confirmed the truck was resprayed. Would that make you a fortunate buyer because you spent 1k less? Because you're a true "mudder"? Because you know more than everyone about everything? Because you're always right, no matter what? Because you're above all other sales forums except this one?

Forgive my assumptions, I'm just trying to speak your language.

How may vehicles have you purchased through sellers on Mud, anyway, Mr. Mudder?

Go reread your reaction on the paint questions. I need say no more than that. My offer went away after that.
