Selling the LX470 my wife has been driving in favor of something a little more economic as it's her daily. The 80 is sufficient for our LC needs for now.

Bought this truck in December of 2017 from a local broker. The title is in my name and clear.

130*** miles. No mechanical issues whatsoever. Drives perfectly. There are some minor cosmetic issues. Driver's side has some small areas where the clear coat needs touched up. Passenger side doors were keyed previous to my owning the truck. The scratch was covered up using touch up paint. A detail shop could sort this out for the perfectionist buyer.

New tires put on by broker before purchase. These are pictured in the Flickr album

I said the truck has not been repainted in any way to my knowledge.

I have said time and time again that I didn't know when I first posted the truck, so making assumptions was unfair. I then took the truck in for some more repairs and it was confirmed it had been resprayed. I then reposted the information accurately and adjusted my price.

ARE YOU COMPLETELY MISSING THIS? JESUS CHRIST.

It was clearly a respray gone bad from the pics. That is not an assumption. That is looking at the pic and knowing something went wrong there. Saying you don't know doesn't change the issue. The issue then effects the truck's value. And your actions of confirmation and lowering of the price came 2 months later.

I'm not missing a thing.

Who cares when they came? You expect me to trust a random goofball's paint diagnosis based on pictures? There's peeling clear coat everywhere you look on cars all over this country. Especially those from the East coast. Acid rain, salt, etc.

I never claimed it wasnt resprayed. I said TO MY KNOWLDEGE. What that means, since you still arent grasping this, is that I don't know and that I'm being as honest as I can be. I'd love to have known and put all that info in the original post, but that wasn't the case. I've got a full time job, a 2 year old and a damn life. That's why I said I wasn't going to have the paint tested like you suggested. I'm never going to drop my price 5k just because someone like you says so. And that doesn't make me or anyone else selling on this forum a hustler, used car salesman, slime bag or otherwise.

The paint issues could be overlooked by the next guy. This is subjective. I got multiple offers better than yours from people who came to see it locally and knew very well that the paint wasn't this trucks strong point.

Just because no one has come down to down to a price you can afford doesn't mean every truck with a blemish here or there should be discounted to your liking. That's ridiculous.

What you're missing is common sense and an ability to back up, admit you were and are out of line in other areas of this post, as pointed out by others.

I'm not expecting that, though. I'm sure you're too busy wasting someone else's time now.

Out of line for pointing out the paint problem on a truck you were asking top dollar on? You just don’t get it.

"out of line in other areas of this post, as pointed out by others"

...is what I said.

You can't read. At all.

You clearly don’t have any reading compression. I’m getting weary of correcting you. My response was comprehensive. Not excluding others.

Feel free to continue.

And you don’t talk or play straight. You overplayed. That is why your thread derailed. Own up to that and be correct next time.

Got me again. Yeah, next time, for sure.

I could care less if it derailed at this juncture. I found my poor slob on CL.
