For Sale 2004 UZJ100 Land Cruiser - Galactic Gray

links, including eBay, Amazon, Skimlinks, and others.

We are the third owners. We are selling because my wife is going back to grad school, so we are cutting our expenses until she is done.

2004 Toyota Land Cruiser. V8, All Wheel Drive, third row seats, leather, Navigation, sunroof, DVD, rear air, etc. Loaded!

102k miles and as dependable today as the day it rolled off the assembly line. 4.7L V8 with a 5-speed automatic and hi/lo transfer case. Drives great on the road and tackles anything off the road.

Front headlights and grill were upgraded to the 2006-07 design due to MUCH better light output. Headlights are OEM with OEM trim pieces and aftermarket grille. Cosmetic only and NOT because of a wreck, and I have the before pics as well as progress pics to prove it.

[STRIKE]We are looking for KBB Private Party Value. $23,500.[/STRIKE]

$20,950 FIRM

I will post pics ASAP!

If you want my honest opinion, it hasn't sold because it's in a wierd price point with a limited market. The majority of guys who are looking for a wheeling truck typically don't pay more than $15K. 100's under that price point move pretty quick. The competition for $23K is pretty attractive. A few grand more gets you VVT-i and AHC on a Cruiser, or a whole lot of something else. Not that I don't think you're asking a fair price, just that I think the '04-'07, mostly stock, used Cruiser market is pretty small compared to the built-99, or stock '00-'01 market for 8-grand less. However, if it was black and tan, and six months from now, I'd have bought it already! GLWS!

edit -> and not to nitpick more, but in post #23, you should adjust the color of the pics in photoshop or similar. It looks loke you have tan carpet with grey leather. Do you?

This is part of the reason. The export market is the main reason right now. Export demand has all but stopped due to laws/taxes. The exporters were buying the high mileage stuff up until this year for all the money, which artificially inflated prices which kept pricing guides high. At the auction level (which is what determines values for all the other "books), 04s have dropped over $4k in the last 5 months. A year ago this ride sells at auction for his current price.

This is a sweet ride that I hope sells soon. Glwts

Bump for a nice, clean truck!

You need to take better exterior pictures with a real digital camera not a phone.
I'd take it back to stock if I were you.

I would leave it. Pics are fine. Don't spend money to break even. I live this rig, and wish I was in the market. Glws.

Bump

It will sell

I'd buy it in a minute if I could get my 2000 LC sold. Putting it on CL soon so if it sells, I'll contact you.

C'mon... Getting the itch to trade it in. I would MUCH rather it go to someone here!

Salt Lake is a nice leisurly cross-country adventure. You can fly Southwest for about $300 or so, then spend another $400 in gas and have a great time! :)

The truck is in Salt Lake? Thought you were on the east coast. That will make a big difference to buyers

LOL... No. Trunk Monkey is in Salt Lake. I'm on the AL Gulf Coast - Between New Orleans LA and Pensacola FL.

Just left you a voicemail.

Just had a trade offer that was really close, and tempting, but I just don't want the hassle of taking someone elses car and turn around and have to sell it or trade it instead. Bump for a great truck!

Just found my replacement with the right color, options, and price.

Dropping the price on the LC to $20,000.

Bump...

Looks like I'm trading it in tomorrow. Getting $19,500 in trade, and I'll save almost $700 in taxes by trading vs selling/buying. Getting a 2006 4Runner Limited 4WD for $2k below book retail to boot. Thanks for the interest!

I would gladly give you 20k if it were in Alaska.
But Alabama is too far away from me.
I'd have to spend about 3k to get it back to Anchorage.

Why on earth are you trading for a 4 runner?

Youre not really getting $19500 for it on trade in, they are just "showing you" $19500. They are making $$$ on you, just moving it around. If you dont believe me, see if they will straight out buy it from you without paying close to retail for theirs ($2k under retail still allows them to make $2-3k on you)....but hey, dealers gotta eat too. Real $ on it is nowhere near 19500 from a dealer.

Where are you trading it in? Hell I really wish I'd seen this a few days ago. I'm in B'ham and in the market.
