Cancelled project looking for a new owner. Significant investments made in customizing and building a very capable and well-loved overlander. 2001 Land cruiser needs a direction to go. Bring it home and turn wrenches on your own, generate your own wish list and let us finish the build, or a combination of the both. Loads of equipment and components go with the package. Not a family hauler any more. Built for two (still have rear seats but removed) with sleeping platform inside. Triple-lock and regeared for 35s. 3" lift, Icon shocks, ARB front with 12k Warn winch, cameras, Off Road Labs rear bumper with spare and accessories rack, sliders, ARB air system, plumbed and wired for hot water, lighting inside and out. Currently entire rear end is out and fully rebuilt including brakes, lines, shafts, seals, bearings, brake hard lines and Doung Thorley stainless steel exhaust system including manifolds. Stacks of receipts. Currently not assembled and needs a direction. Put it back together with what's done and here or go deeper with more restoration. On pause until interest turns into a plan. Too many other paying projects to spend time on this one for. If no interest use found, it will sit until time comes available to resume. Not built as a pavement cruiser. A truly off- road capable beast. Over $70k invested. Looking for reasonable offers. Send an inquiry if you want the long version of story. Currently in storage at Dauntless Motors.

$70K where?
Mostly running gear (triple lockers, gearing, shocks,...) installed overlanding accessories (12v systems, drawers and bed system, water filtration, compressed air system...), overland equipment (refrig, solar system, awnings...), etc. Spare set of wheels (bead locks on installed wheels). 35s installed and not 33s as stated earlier. Everything was installed by professional shops in the Seattle area so a good amount was labor. I have not gone through all of the receipts for an itemized list. It's a stack. I did some interior fit-out a few years back. When it came to me this time around I pulled the rear end out and rebuilt it including all new bearings, inner rings and seals, one new shaft, brakes, pads/shoes, brake hoses and hard lines, drums/disks, all new inner brake hardware. Rear end housing was sandblasted and coated with a 5-stage process. Rear 3/4 of undercarriage was sandblasted and 3-stage coated (front was not done yet). All exhaust was removed and new Doug Thorley stainless headers purchased (not installed yet). All new stainless exhaust purchased except for factory cats) not installed yet. His purchase price for the LC was about $25k.

If you weren't so far, I would 100% try to buy the ARB bumper. I know you probably aren't wanting to part out, but I think freight would be way too much.
