Hello all! Had a question, my drivers side door neither of the speakers work. I have been working on changing the motors for the locks because I'm finally over it and decided I would look into it. I plugged the front speaker in the back and it worked so I know the speaker is good. Now I know the ML system is a headache and I pulled out the head unit and there was an old school Motorola I guess cell phone thing in there and I noticed that it was connected into the head unit see picture below. Is that brown the same one that goes to the front left? I also noticed a black wire that was cut and had about 3 feet left behind the head unit. And traced it behind the glove box and lost it.. any suggestions on where to go from here?

another possibility is an upstream problem , with the amplifier.
So I was looking at the amp.. there are three plugs. I guess I could try to check volt on the same color wires? It's weird that the back doors bother have same color speaker wires

So I think that random cord is the power antenna motor. Didn't I see that it's supposed to be connected to the head unit?
