2000 loses power (1 Viewer)

I could use some help. My 2000 will sporadically lose power, accelerator does not respond, the check eng and vac lights come on. Cycling the key restores power ,but lights stay on for a variable time and then eventually go off.

Get a code reader or head to Autozone or the like and read the codes. I would be it's a sporadic (for now) coil pack.

Thank you. I should have added that once I cycle the key there are no codes stored. What do you think about the battery, even though it has been checked after the fact and the pos terminal was replaced?

If the CEL has illuminated it will store the code in memory, you'll need an OBD reader to see what it is.

If no codes, I would suspect the fuel pump, if original and high miles.
